*Chris's POV*
I look across a crowded parking garage I'm search of Director Fury's black SUV. You'd think it's be easy to spot considering its size, but I'd been looking for a good twenty minutes. The area is huge though and I've only made it up a few of the levels. I'm just about to exit the forth level and head to the fifth when I spot it. Parked between a minivan and the wall I nearly miss it. Fury sees me and puts down his phone motions me to the seat next to him. When I'm in the vehicle I sit waiting for an answer to why I've been called here.
"Does the name Hayden O'Donald mean anything to you?" Fury finally asks.
Hayden O'Donald? Something about the first name triggers something but I don't know what. I can't put a face to the name and it doesn't bring up any significant memories. I will over it for a few more seconds to see if anything came to me before answering.
"The name sounds familiar, but I can't place it. What does it mean?" I ask not really expecting an answer. That's how Fury works he asks questions or tells you to do what he says and gives no explanation. He knows everything and you know nothing but what he tells you. And even though he tells you something that doesn't mean it's the truth.
"I'm surprised it even rings bells. You've never met him, but you've heard of him. Most likely only once though."
"So if you thought I'd only heard of him once what was the point of asking if I knew him?"
"Because I had to know if she had ever told you anything more than what she told us."
"She? She who? And who is Hayden O'Donald?"
"Hayden O'Donald is one of the worst criminal ring leaders to pop up in the last fifty years."
"Why would I know about him? And who would have told me?" I had a horrible feeling I knew exactly who he was talking about, I just didn't want to admit it.
"Steve I like you. Always have. You're a good man, but you've got caught up with some bad people. When I first assigned you I believed it would be the best for both of you. Knock a little humor into her and knock some of that attitude out of you." The dread in my stomach built. I knew he was talking about her but I wanted him to say it. I wanted him to look me in the eye and say it. " I was right it did both, but now it's out you in a world of danger. I don't know where her loyalties lie but I do know if she chooses the wrong one then we're in for a world of hurt. Especially you."
"Why would I be in danger. I've done nothing."
"Because the way your file reads. Someone accessed it about a month ago. That someone was working for O'Donald. And he's a manipulative bastard. I have to be on my way but Steve I'm taking you off all missions as of now. I'll have someone watching you but keep your own eyes peeled." He turned to leave but I still had to hear the name.
"Fury just say the name please. I have to know."
"You know who it is. It's [y/n].
