Chapter 11

A/N: This is a really long chapter, sorry! I'm so bad at updating. :( I'm also sorry about the error publishing, wattpad did a thing and it didn't publish properly. I'm going to try to publish more often so look forward to that!

The Vault Hunters got to the Wildlife Exploitation Preserve and Sal stopped the vehicle. He said, "we're here!" Grim said, "we already found Delta, we were supposed to go to Sanctuary." Zero whispered, "fuckin idiot." Sal yelled, "my bad!" Sal jumped out of the technical and said, "well, while we're here, we should probably get some ammo."

Everyone got ammo and sold the useless weapons that they found. They piled back into the vehicle and Sal said, "we have to stop by Overlook so I can turn in this mission, but from there we can fast travel to Sanctuary."

They got to the Highlands and Sal turned in his mission while Zero and Grim stood by the fast travel station waiting. Finally Salvador started our way saying, "I'm ready to go now." Zero pushed a button and as if it were magic we were in Sanctuary.

Grim thought to her self, "wow, this little town took down Hyperion?!" While walking out of the Helena Pierce Fast Travel station Zero said, "welcome to my town / it is a very small one / named Sanctuary." Zero continued, "we should go see Lil / she might be a bit angry / Roland was just killed." Grim had heard stories about them being a couple, in a way she was sorry for the poor girl. Love was hard to find on Pandora, and to have that taken away from someone.

Grim didn't answer as they walked to the HQ. Hordes of people ambushed them, congratulating Sal and Zero, and the occasional "oooh, look everybody! Zero got a girlfriend!" Sal basked in the glory as he slowly made his way to the HQ, while Zero pushed through the crowd as fast as he could without hurting anybody. He placed his hand firmly on Grim's back to guide her through the people.

Once in the building, they were greeted by a girl who was now holding Grim's left arm and quickly saying, "oooh! You must be the new siren, can I take a sample, or a hair! My name's Tannis by the way." Zero pulled Grim away and started up the stairs where all the vault hunters were there.in a circle like formation with a little space for Grim Zero and Salvador to stand.

Zero said, "I brought her back safely / is she with us now, Lilith / she seems to be nice" Lilith responded, "of course she is! She'll die on her own!" Grim said, "thanks for the encouragement, Lilith!" She turned to Grim and stated, "well, we have no idea what you're capable of, and to be fair, you were captured by Jack" Grim bitterly said, "you had help, I didn't."

Lilith ignored Grim and said to Zero, "she's one of us now, show her around Sanctuary and introduce her to the locals."Zero grabbed Grim's wrist and headed downstairs. He gestured to Tannis and said, "you've already met / but she is insanely smart / and hates human kind." Tannins turned to us and started towards us quickly, but Zero held out one of his insanely long arms and held her back. He said, "moving on" while putting his other hand on the small of Grim's back and pushing her towards the door.

Zero showed her around town and she met the most essential people, like Scooter, Moxxi, Marcus, Sir Hammerlock, Crazy Earl, Dr. Zed, Mordecai, and Brick.

Zero said, "do you like it here? / We've met almost everyone / only one more left" Grim was about to speak when she heard a familiar voice say, "Minion! How ya been? Who is- oh wait! I know you! You saved me from those bullymongs, and let me stay at your place; why'd ya leave?" Grim turned and saw Claptrap, and what he was saying was correct. She had saved him, not knowing he was so activating to be around. She hated the bot so much she abandoned her home to get away from him.

Grim's instant response was to was to smack the little robot. She said, "I left because you're the most annoying little shit I've ever met!" Zero said, "wait, you know Claptrap? / I saved him from bullymongs / he guided me here" "I was hoping to never see you again" Grim mumbled under her breath. Claptrap hugged Grim's legs and said, "I missed you buddy!" Claptrap let go of her and said to Zero, "I have a job for you minion! I need something to improve my place, I was thinking about a big bundle of bullymong fur. What do you say, Minion?" Zero answered, "we'll do that later / I'm gonna finish this tour / I'll see you later."

   A/N: I like to think of Axton as a meanwhile so that's kinda what he's like in this story.

Zero grabbed Grim's hand and walked back to the Crimson Raiders HQ. "Lilith, you okay? / where is Grim supposed to sleep / I'm done with the tour" Zero asked Lilith. Lilith responded with, "I'll figure it out later, for now she sleeps with you. Unless you want me to have Axton take care of her?" Lilith had a smirk plastered on her face. Zero didn't respond, instead he just led Grim to the balcony and said, "follow me" as he leaped off the balcony onto a nearby roof. Grim followed, almost as good as park or as Zero.

After leaping off a couple more roofs, they were finally at Zero's house, or should I say roof? It was on top of Zed's clinic.

Zero said, "uh, so I guess you'll be sleeping with me until Lilith finds you a place for you to stay, um." Grim looked at Zero with wide eyes and says, "hey, you dropped your haiku!" Zero jerked his head up and said, "no, I did not, Grim / you are hearing things / there must be a ghost" Grim said, "great, you're in denial!" Zero responded, "no, I'm not." She responded, "I heard you say it!" Zero said, "let's go to Moxxi's / everyone should be there / they're always drinking." Zero leaped to the ground and turned to Grim and said, "we could do that or / we could go on Claptrap's mission / or we could do both" Grim gave up and responded, "we could go to the bar , talk for a little bit, and then go on a mission." Grim jumped down to walk with Zero to the bar.
