"Hey, Aussie. Got a minute?"
"I'm kinda in the middle of something here, Germ."
"Well, stop it and come with me. Wai- that's not work. This is a goddamn game, Aussie."
"Still something."
"You are not supposed to be snarky like me. That's my job, and it's mine alone. Now, follow."
"I'm pretty sure I'm not a dog that you can just order around."
"Okay, okay, please follow. I have something really really important to tell you."
"Why can't you say it here? Or is it to proclaim your undying love for me?"
"Wait, what? Goddammit Australia, I do not swing that way."
"Sure, Germ. Whatever you say."
"Don't be so goddamn sassy, you little asshole!"
"Me? An asshole? Hmm. So creative you are."
"Shut. Up. Come with me."
"G-Germany! Let go of my fucking arm! I am not some toy you can drag around."
"Well, obviously you are. Now, shush before I gag you with something."
"Hmm, kinky."
"Shut the fuck up, Aussie. I'll show Italy that pic-"
"You wouldn't dare!"
"I would. If you don't want that to happen, keep your mouth zipped and I won't have to do anything."
"Okay, okay, I surrender. For now. Just say what you need to say,"
"It's about Ire-"
"Now I don't wanna hear it,"
"Aussie, what is wrong with you? You've gotten more and more grumpy since she showed up,"
"One: she knocked me out of my position. Two: in the short amount of time that she's been here, she's caused a lot more drama than we ever had here. I don't like her as much as, say, you,"
"Well, Aussie, she's part of the team. Anyways, let me continue,"
"Go for it,"
"She's had a certain someone keeping a close eye on her. And this certain someone usually doesn't care about the others,"
"Which company,"
"Alpha, smartie. Bravo doesn't have a whole lot of asshats,"
"Sure, Germ. Whatever you say. Wai- Alpha?"
"Can you guess who?"
"Erm... Wait, wait, wait. Maine?"
"Yep. Big ol' Maine. And his little buddy, too,"
"His AI?"
"Mmm-hmm. While we were gone, they got all buddy buddy. She showed up consistently to a couple AI courses with them, staying for several minutes after to ask questions. I need to ask her about, but she's still pissed off with all of the team and now she's out on assignment,"
"That can't be all you brought me out here for,"
"Nope. Rus pulled me aside earlier this morning. Madrik can't contact Ireland. At all. Something in her helmet is blocking him. Even that smart little guy can't get through, and he's been trying since we got back from that mission. Madrik said that it's interference from another AI. Any guess who, my dear friend?"
"Why are they so concerned with Ireland of all people? That's what I'm curious about. By what you told me, I feel like they are dead set on keeping her with them, getting that woman further and further from us,"
"Yeah, exactly. When she gets back, we need to have a talk with her,"
