Lifting myself out of the chair without many problems, apart from finding that my legs had gone numb and my neck was stiff from where I had been leaning against my arm while I slept. The dream, it was weird, It was a mix of the nightmare and a new dream. I couldn't quite figure out if it was meant to be a good sign that the nightmare has just half of the previous potency that it had before. I couldn't obviously remember my dream. Shame!
Making sure my legs didn't feel like jelly, or collapsed beneath me, before I managed to venture out of the room, trying to locate the people of the household. I couldn't be that late. I don't think that I slept that long. I didn't have a watch on me. Back at the 'Hospital' they really didn't want us patients to wear watches, since it was something that could be used to hurt ourselves. But that was then. I keep forgetting that I'm out of there. Saved by Luca.
Standing out in the hallway, I strained my hearing, hoping to hear the faintest sound of someone or a group of people. Nothing. That's weird. They wouldn't leave me alone, well.. I think they would but that's not the point. I'm just out of 'Hospital' and I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't want me wandering around their house freely.
Then, just as I was about to turn around and go back into the front room, I assumed, I saw someone coming towards me. With what looked like an object. Oh..My..God.. Not another nightmare.. Please! Let me go! I slowly moved back, instinctively until I backed into a wall.
"Whoa.. Calm down Yvonne, seriously. Anyone would think that I was going to attack you", they mumbled, before I realized the voice belonged to Ethan. What was he doing coming towards me, with now what I saw was a bottle. "Now, I was going to ask you if you wanted to be taken out for a bit. Get away from this madhouse. But if you don't want to come, then that's fine" He shrugged away his offer but I was tempted to go. It wouldn't hurt to go out for a bit, even if it was with the boyfriend of my best friend.
I moved back towards him, as if I was going to hug him. But I didn't. He wasn't my type. "Listen! I didn't know you were coming. Ok!? I mean, you seemed like someone holding a very dangerous item there. How am I supposed to know, since I've just come out of the 'Hospital'", I made the air mark gestures when I said Hospital, "and I don't know if someone's trying to kill me or I'm in a nightmare!" I spoke with a hint of harshness in my voice, showing that I wasn't pleased with his attempts to make conversation.
Ethan shrugged, seeing as he clearly stuck between answering and walking off. "So, are you going to accept my offer? Or are you going to stand here like a complete and utter idiot while I walk back out to the guys outside?" He gave me the offer, I might as well take it. Thing is, he's calling me the idiot when he's standing there with a bottle in one hand and a cloth in the other. What's he going to do? Wipe the bottle eh? I smiled at the thought, before looking back at him.
"Sure thing. Why not? What could go wrong?" I responded, not knowing what exactly could go wrong in the space of how ever long he was going to be out with me.
