"Pass it! I'm open!" Lacie yelled over at Harry when he got trapped by Bessie and Robert.

Harry smoothly kicked the ball to Lacie who made another goal. They were now 8 to 6. Harry believed that they could win that game in around three minutes. Lacie was a fantastic soccer player, which Harry could tell she got from her mom. Bessie had to have played on a school team. She had complete control over the ball once it was close enough. Robert, on the other hand, could not run with the ball, but he tried. He was sneaky and could steal the ball without you knowing and was a good goalie.

Robert did not like Harry. Whenever Harry got the ball, Robert was right on his tail. If Harry stole the ball from Bessie, Robert would attempt to trip him. Once Harry got a goal, Robert would give him the death stare. Nothing could shake that kid. Harry tried everything he could to get the kid to ease up, but his attempts failed.

As quick as lightning, Bessie ran the ball towards their goal and made an easy shot while Harry was celebrating with Lacie over their teamwork. It would probably take more than three minutes to win now.

"You little cheater!" Harry laughed as he playfully hit Bessie.

"Hey! Don't touch my momma!" Robert yelled at Harry with a face brighter than his hair.

"He was just playing Robert! Harry wouldn't hurt momma!" Lacie yelled back at Robert, defending her new friend.

"There's no need to shout," Bessie said in a calm voice.

"Why don't me and Lacie get back to kicking your butt!" Harry cheered in once he made a goal while they were fighting.

"Look who's the cheater now!" Bessie joked.

"Let's stop with the name callin' and get to playin'," Lacie chirped.

Harry took off with the ball with Bessie hot on his heals. Before he knew it, Bessie was going the other way and the ball was missing. That was the work of Robert. Harry was just a few feet away from getting in a game-winning goal. Back up the field, Lacie smoothly stole the ball and headed back down field. The same thing happened three times before Harry had to stop at Bessie and Robert's Goal.

'How could Bessie do this 24/7? I can barley do it for one football game,' thought Harry.

Harry smiled as he saw Bessie play with her kids. Robert was actually smiling. Lacie looked even more like Bessie when she laughed. Bessie's body was glistening with sweat, the sun shining off of her skin giving her an angelic, yet sweaty, glow. Harry was very glad he was wearing jean instead of shorts even with the hot weather and physical activity.

Harry was brought back to reality when Lacie screeched in pure joy.

"Harry! We won!" Lacie yelled as she ran towards him.

Harry picked Lacie off the ground, put her on his shoulders, and ran around the field with a battle cry. When Harry looked over at Bessie, he saw she was recording them on her phone.

"Hey! I'm not ready for the camera! My hair's a mess," Harry yelled over at Bessie.

Lacie just laughed and laughed till she got a hold of her water bottle. Once Harry got a hold on his water bottle, he poured it all over his face.

"Why did you splash your face?" Lacie laughed.

"Because I am very hot," Harry explained.

"He wouldn't be hot if he didn't play," Robert mumbled.

"Robert!" Lacie gasped.

"It is always just you, me, and momma. We don't want anyone else on our soccer team," Robert puffed.

"Robert! That is no way to talk to an adult! Tell Harry you are sorry," Bessie demanded.

"Sorry," Robert spat.

"You love your momma, don't you?" Harry asked Robert as he keeled down to his level.

Robert nodded as he looked to the ground.

"I'm guessing you think I might hurt your momma," Harry said.

Robert nodded again.

"You don't need to worry about that. I'll be very careful not to," Harry promised.

Robert nodded this time looking into Harry's eyes.

"Are we good now?" Harry asked.

Robert just stared at Harry thoughtfully then said, "Do you know our daddy?"

"Robert..." Bessie said as she shook her head.

"He always asks that," Lacie informed.

"I'm sorry," Bessie mouthed as she ruffed Robert's head.

"No, I don't know your daddy. But I can tell you this, he is missing out on two awesome kids," Harry smiled.

"Yeah, I am awesome," Robert said seriously.

Harry laughed as Lacie gave them a confused look.

"It's very hot, how about we do something to cool off?" Bessie suggested.

"Like what?" Harry asked.

"We could go swim in the lake," Robert said.

"You know we can't do that any more. Remember last time when you swam nude? We're band from doing that now," Bessie protested.

"We could go and sneak into the large fridge in the dinner kitchen," Lacie said.

"Where are you getting these idea?" Bessie asked.

"I know what we can do," Harry said.

"What?" Lacie asked.

"We can go and get ice cream," Harry said.

Robert's face lit up. This dream came back to mind.

"Ice cream's perfect," Bessie smiled.

"I love ice cream," Lacie said as she held onto Harry's hand.

"Me too," Harry smiled.

Robert pouted as he held onto Bessie's hand.

"I'll take my car and meet you there," Bessie said.

"Can I ride with Harry?" Lacie asked.

"Does Harry have a car seat in his ca?" Bessie asked.

"No, I don't. Sorry kido," Harry said.

"It won't be a long drive," Bessie promised.

Lacie pouted as she followed Bessie to their car.

Harry quickly jumped into his car and drove as fast as he could to the ice cream parlor a few blocks away to see three very special people.
