"OOOOOOOH!!!!" the boys shouted simultaneously as Bessie caught another piece of sesame chicken in her mouth.

For a girl, Bessie could catch food very well. That kept them entertained for a good twenty minutes.

"So, boys," Zayn said, "I've been pondering when Harry is going to pop the question to Bessie."

"I put twelve pounds on a month," Louis said.

"Fifteen on three months," Liam bet.

"Twenty on next week," Niall laughed.

"Guys, Harry and I have just met only a few days ago. What are the chances that he will propose to me anytime soon?"  Bessie said with the pink in her face starting to fade away.

"Harry is crazy about you and the kids. I'm surprised that he hasn't proposed yet. Bessie, you are nothing like the girls he usually 'dates'. You are special," Niall explained.

"What makes me so different?" Bessie asked again.

"You're real. You are the kind of girl that you settle down with. You are one-of-a-kind. Harry has been waiting for a girl like you all his life. Those are his exact words. He is very serious about you," Zayn explained next.

Bessie's eyes shown fear and love at the same time. Her mouth was slightly ajar, she took quick, quiet breaths, and she started to fidget with her hands.

"Hey guys, I'm back..." Harry said but stopping once he saw Bessie sitting there surrounded by the boys. Bessie, his Bessie, was eating lunch with the boys and they looked like they were having a great time without him. They probably even questioned her without his say so. This did not make Harry happy. At all.

"Bets, what are you doing here?" Harry asked.

"Zayn invited me to 'hang out' with the boys but all they've done is question me," Bessie said shyly.

"You guys interrogated Bessie?" Harry yelled at them as his face got bright red.

"Zayn told us to!" Louis, Niall, and Liam yelled at the same time.

"Hey! I did not! I just invited her to hang out with us," Zayn defended.

"From Harry and Bessie's sacred coffee shop," Niall added.

"Thanks Niall," Zayn sarcastically said.

"Bessie, will you please leave the room," Harry demanded more than asked.

Bessie just sat there in shock. She was told that Harry cared for her more than any girl he has ever been with, she was the girl he has been waiting for, he loves the kids, and, from his actions, Bessie could tell he loved her too. It was a lot to take in. Bessie has never had a boyfriend before and she just found out that someone from the opposite sex loves her and it is not her dad.

Slowly, but surly, Harry was braking down her walls one by one, starting by not running away when he found out she had kids. Bessie started to feel something towards Harry she has never felt before. Compaction? Possibly. Adoration? Sure. Love? No. Bessie could not be in love. She did not think she could survive another heart brake like her last. But would this end in heart brake? Would she have to try to mend her life again all alone with young kids on her hands? Could this be different?

"Bessie, please get out of ear shot. I do not want you to hear what I am about to say," Harry said through clenched teeth waking her up from her thoughts.

Bessie's lips started to quiver. Her eyes got watery. Her breathe got quick and short. Without warning, she darted out of the room and out of the building. Harry's heart broke when he saw what state Bessie was in when she left but he needed to put those boys straight. If he did not, no one will.

Harry did not want to admit it yet, but he was in love with Bessie. He was in love with Lacie and Robert. Those kids made him happy and with Bessie by his side, his life became complete. Harry did not want to scare Bessie off by letting her know of this yet, for he knew she was romantically emotionless you could say. Harry could not lose her. Not his happiness. Not his life-waited-dream-girl. He had to make the boys stop pestering her before they say something stupid.
