"Robert, Lacie, please stop running around," Bessie said with not much force.

Ever since Bessie's nightmare, Bessie has pushed Harry away from her. It was nothing Harry did in the real world, but what Harry had done in the dream world. Bessie knew it was a dream though that dream seemed so realistic that it felt like it was actually happening.

"Hey, Bessie, can I talk to you for a moment?" Niall asked snapping Bessie out of thought.

"Um, I'm right in the middle of hosting a party..." Bessie said as she stopped folding napkins and faced Niall.

Harry thought it would be a great idea to show all his friends how wonderful his life is by throwing a party to display it all. His perfect kids, wonderful girlfriend, the beautiful house she lived in, the delicious food she can cook, how much his family loved him...

"Please, it will only take a minute," Niall pleaded Bessie.

"Sure," Bessie said when she saw the urgency in his eyes.

Niall lead Bessie to her back porch as everyone drank fine wine and laughed at the funny stories Harry was telling.

"What did you want to talk about?" Bessie asked as they stood in the cold winter air.

"Ell wants to start having kids," Niall said looking at the ground.

"And..." Bessie said knowing that there was more behind it than the eye could see.

Niall sighed and slowly said, "Well, before me and Ell got together, there was this girl. I was madly in love with her. We could be awake all night just sitting there staring at each other. She was one of those people who you just wanted to be with, you didn't have to say a word as long as you felt her presence. This girl was the German model Lauren Heuwender. One day she told me that she was leaving for Paris with some promising designer to become famous. She did. And I'm happy she reached her dream, but it hurt me so bad."

Niall had pressed his hands against the railing of the porch as he told these words to Bessie. At one point, Bessie thought he was going to be sick.

"I'm so sorry Niall," Bessie said as she patted Niall on the back to show she was still listening.

"That's not the worst part," Niall said looking sicker.

For a moment, Niall just stood there looking out into the distance with a strange look in his eyes. Like he could see Lauren right now having the time of her life without him.

"When Lauren left, I went on a crazy lust rampage. I ended up sleeping with a good school friend, Colleen. A few weeks later, Colleen called me and told me she was pregnant. I got so scared that I told her to take care of it herself. She didn't get an abortion. Colleen isn't like that. She has such a weak heart, it cares for anything. And now I am the father of a little girl," Niall said as he came close to tears.

"Oh my gosh," Bessie said in shock.

"Colleen named her Evelyn. It means longed-for child. Colleen thanked me. She wanted a kid so badly but every relationship she has been in ended in bad blood. Every year on Evelyn's birthday, Colleen sends me a picture of her. Evelyn looks exactly like what Ell describes our daughter would be like," Niall said handing Bessie some photo's.

The pictures were of a little girl with light brown hair, shinning blue eyes, and the sweetest smile a little girl could have. She looked just like Niall. She was perfect.

"She's beautiful," Bessie said in awe.

"Colleen is dying. She has had cancer for almost two years now. When Colleen dies, I share custody of Evelyn with Colleen's parents. How am I going to tell Ell that? She wants a kid but I already have one in the spitting image she wants her to be! What can I do?" Niall cried.

"You need to tell Ell. It is better that she knows. She may be happy knowing that the image of the perfect daughter exists. Niall, Ell needs to know," Bessie comforted her crying friend.

"What if Ell ends up hating me? Ell has been the best thing that happened to me since Lauren left. I can't risk losing her," Niall said with tears still running down his face.

"If you decide on telling her is your decision. All I can do is give you advice," Bessie said.

"Thank you," Niall said as he wiped away his tears.

"I need to go back inside, are you going to be OK being out here alone? Do I need to get Liam or Louis to be with you?" Bessie asked Niall.

"No, I'll be fine," Niall said as he returned to facing the back yard.

"OK," Bessie whispered into the wind as she went inside.

Once Bessie was inside, she left like she walked straight into her own prison.

"Bets, can you get another bottle of wine?" Harry asked once he  saw she was standing right by the door.

"Yeah," Bessie said emotionlessly.

Bessie walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of wine and just started at it. Before Bessie started to cry, she threw the bottle against the wall. The bottle shattered into a million pieces. Once the bottle hit the wall, Bessie fell to her knees and just cried. She needed to cry. So much emotion was held up behind her happy mask.

"Bessie? Is everything OK?" Ell asked as she knelt down to her sobbing friend.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pull you away from the party," Bessie said trying to get a hold of herself.

"Oh Bets. It's all going to be OK," Ell said rubbing her back trying to get her to clam down.

"Ell, go have have a good time. Don't worry about me," Bessie said as she started to pick up the broken pieces of glass.

Ell paused for a while but finally sighed, "OK sweetie. If you need me, I'll be in the other room."

Bessie nodded as she returned to her task.

Bessie did not get far into her work when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," Bessie yelled into the joy filled room of partiers.

There was no reply. Just a bunch of laughs.

Bessie opened the door and said, "Welcome to the party. Please give me our jacket and enjoy some refreshments."

"Hello Bessie bear," a familiar voice said.

"Helen?" Bessie said in shock.
