"Good morning everyone," Harry beamed.

"Go to hell," Louis said, obviously hung over.

"What puts you in such a good mood?" Zayn asked.

"I just had the most amazing day yesterday," Harry smiled.

"Well look who's a ray of sunshine today?" Ell commented as she entered the room.

Harry picked Ell up by her waist and swung her around saying, "Ell, you are the most amazing person ever! I love you!"

Ell laughed and said, "That little play date went that well?"

A few seconds past before a loud cough was heard which stopped both Harry and Ell. They looked over to see Niall standing with his arms crossed and a look of death directed towards Harry. Harry decided it was a good idea to put Ell down and walk away slowly. Ell walked casually over to Niall and whispered something into this ear which made him smile and pull her in for hot kiss that would help with the image he just saw.

"Get a room," Louis said bitterly.

"Just because things worked out between me and Niall and not between you and me doesn't mean you have to be so sour you drunk," Ell barked back.

"Oh I'm the drunk?" Louis talked back, "You can't go a day without a the burn of liquor run down you throat! I'm just drinking because it was Niall you decided to screw while we were dating instead of me."

"You have to admit, we have barely anything in common," Ell said.

"I thought we had a lot in common but I guess you're not really that person I knew," Louis scoffed.

 "Louis, chill," Niall said.

"Why Niall? You're one of my best friends yet you screwed my girlfriend," Louis asked.

"Louis, that was almost a year ago. Get a hold of yourself," Niall said.

"You know that ex, Collin? He still comes by here," Louis said.

"Why?" Niall asked Ell.

"He's worried ever since he found out that another one of my ex's was a drug dealer that I will get hurt," Ell explained.

"Is that why he always brings flowers when Niall's gone to get food?" Louis asked.

"So Harry, tell us about that play date," Liam said trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, that sounds very interesting," Zayn agreed.

"After the soccer game we got ice cream. Momma let me get TWO scopes! Harry got chocolate, Robert got chocolate too, Momma got vanilla, and I got vanilla with sprinkles. Harry made a lot of funny jokes. He is very funny. OH! Harry even carried me to the car when we were leaving because I got ice cream on my shoes and Momma had to clean them but they were too wet to wear. He has very pretty eyes and let me braid his hair!" Lacie informed her grandad as they set out the dinner plates.

"Yeah, Harry's a cool guy," Robert added.

"He sounds very cool," Ringo said with a smile on his face.

"Harry said that next week he would take us to the zoo! We haven't been to the zoo here yet and Harry said it was very good," Lacie commented.

"The zoo here is very good," Ringo  said.

"Momma, did Ringo ever take you to the zoo when you were little?" Robert asked.

Bessie looked down at her son's gleaming eyes. She gave a long sigh. Robert and Lacie were too young to understand that Ringo did not even know she existed till she was sixteen. To young to realize that their grandparents were not married. Or what has become of their father. Even what their father did to make them come to be. Too young. Way too young.

"No, no Ringo didn't," Bessie said sadly.

"Why?" Lacie asked this time.

"It's a grown-up thing," Bessie sighed.

"Will you tell us when we're older?" Robert acquired.

Bessie laughed and said, "Yes, I'll tell you when you're older.

"Why don't we dig into that delicious food your mum cooked for us," Ringo said trying to change the subject.

As Lacie and Robert put all their attention on their food, Ringo said to Bessie, "Bets, you know that I wish I was there the moment you were born."

"I know. It's not your fault. It's Helen's," Bessie said in a hushed tone.

"Helen may have been horrible in the past, but she is still your mother and you need to recognize that," Ringo scolded.

"She is the reason I left home. We should have filed for a restraining order," Bessie scoffed.

"Bets, family is family. Right now, the only family you have besides the kids is me. I'm not the youngest and healthiest person alive you know," Ringo whispered.

"Don't talk that way. You know that if anything happens to you, Ell and Paul would make sure I would always be OK. Nothing is going to happen to you anytime soon. Please don't talk that way," Bessie said with watery eyes.

It was true. Ringo and the kids were the only family Bessie had. It was a miracle that she was even able to find out that Ringo was her biological father. That news destroyed what was left of Bessie's mother and assumed father's marriage, splitting her sister away from her, and having her own mother try to take away her children because her mother was baby obsessed. Thankfully, Ringo was able to help Bessie win the custody battle, driving Bessie away from the states and to her true father's home land. There, Bessie was able to get away from her fake family and be with her real one.
