The girl began to think before they smiled once again

"I leave tonight actually , would that be fine?"

Savanna nodded

"Splendid!" The stranger giggled in a soft voice

It was like a taste of freedom, the feeling of being able to breath again and just look at the scene in front of you like you haven't seen this for a very long time

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Thana the thirteen year old said beside her, her eyes also watched the scenery in fascination.

"Are you sure this isn't Ostar?" She asked in amazement. It just look much like the human world yet Savanna could still detect that they never left the place yet

"It's the in between" Thana explained, not taking her eyes off of what lay in front of her. Savanna couldn't speak, she was in utter amazement of the creation so Thana spoke again

"In between the humans and our world. Where two creations meet and form into something extraordinary. You don't see something like this everywhere" Savanna only nodded in agreement, of course she would never see this anywhere. The world is a beautiful place but put two things together, created by a god and a goddess Made something no one could explain, something you can't see everywhere and surprisingly no one has ever been here, the boundary of a portal

"I really don't see why people would rather create one when you could use this" Savanna murmured

"Not everyone has the knowledge of this, some believe it is a portal to death or whatever other people feed each other with"

"Then how did you discover this place then? When you knew they said such stories, why did you go?" Savanna asked in confusion. This girl came here, the place where Ostar ends yet she was the only one who had the courage to face whatever it was people thought were here

Thana Though only shrug but a smirk was played against her red rosy lips

"I'm immortal. I do not fear something that I know I won't become"

They continued to walk until they stopped in front of a pasture. Although it is a beautiful view, her heart begs to squeeze, as if- if she takes another step, it would take her heart out

"Now this might hurt a bit, so you might need to prepare" Thana warned beside her, her eyes bored drawn in a thin line as she concentrated

"So that's why u feel like my soul is getting sucked?"

Thana only nod

"Are you ready?"

"Yes"

Savanna wasn't prepared, she thought Thana would give her a warning but she didn't. Instead she found herself being plunged towards darkness by Thana's powerful force. Savanna couldn't help but scream and she felt her chest go tighter, the way her eyes almost rolled back from lack of oxygen, but that was long gone when she fell in a concrete floor, air seeping through her starving mouth and nose as she inhaled lots of it

"I always love that part" Savanna whipped her head to glare at the grinning thirteen year old and spat in anger
