First Attempt

Snowbird POV
Rain and I were building the chicken coop. Nothing is too good for our chickens. I knew I was two months until my due date. Blaine was watching me as he and Matt were working on the house. The first time Rain and I tried to lift something both of the boys came over to help. "You do not need to be lifting that much weight. You could go into early labor." I knew Blaine was trying to be a caring husband. "We will be fine. We can do it, right Rain?" "Yes, we can!" "We are almost done gutting the house and then we will help you." We didn't do as they said as we started moving it again. They were taking the roof off. We were putting the floor together as they jumped in front of us as they took over. "Why don't the both of you take a load off and plan what will go in her new house." "Maybe we want to watch?" "I'm asking you as your husband to sit down for a while. Until we have our weekly target practice." "You won't let me lift but I can shoot a gun?" He came over to stand in front of me as took both of my hands in his and kissed both of them. "Yes because I trust you with a gun. After we finish this, I'm going into to town to talk with Lily. She has the papers drawn up." We were trying to be quiet about it because we were telling the family tonight. I kissed him as I walked to our cabin. Rain was already drawing up the plans.

Matt POV
We had just finished putting the chicken coop together as the Integrity pulled into the home bay. Gabe and Bam brought two carriers of chickens. We took each one out to be placed in the coop. After each chicken was out. I noticed it was around 3 in the afternoon. It was time for the weekly target practice. We all grabbed our guns and went out to the beach. Birdy was first with Blaine because they had to go into town and be back before dark. She took a few shots and made each one. She was still a crack shot even though she was pregnant. She has been getting better each year. My little sister is growing up. She was almost 24. Where did the time go? When she found Blaine, all I saw was a man that had broken her heart. He had proved to us that he was a good man for her. Then he had to be stupid to get a girl he was having an affair with pregnant and his wife. Blaine stepped up to take his shot with his pistol. I didn't understand why he used a pistol instead of a shotgun. He made each shot. The took their skiff and they were off to town.
Each one approached to shoot the target. Lacy was getting better. We knew she just needed more practice. I stepped up after Noah and his bow. I took my gun and put it on my shoulder. I looked into my scope and took a deep breath. Then I pulled the trigger. It took a hit. I took a couple of more shots as Bear and Charlotte stepped up. Charlotte was stilling learning. She had only shot a few times. The first time she shot a gun she fell backwards from the kickback. Grace had been taught by Gabe and isn't our best shot. She just needs some work.

Bam POV
I stepped up with Eleanor and she could shoot a gun to save herself. She kept trying but couldn't get it right. Each time I would try to help her but it didn't turn out right. She struggled the most out of all the wives. I would always worry when she would go out to wash clothes or just walk through camp. She didn't have a way to defend herself. I took my shots and made 9 out 10. I was watching her as she put her shotgun in the right position. I heard her take a deep breath and she missed the target. She kept trying and trying. She didn't get one shot. I could tell she was starting to cry as she handed me the gun and made her way back home. I knew she would tear up as she went to get Diana and put her down for a nap. She would do a few things around the house and then she would sit in a chair to cry her eyes out.

Amelia POV
I woke up late in the afternoon. I grabbed the robe that was hanging on the side of the bed. I get up to walk over to the door. It was unlocked. I wanted to explore the castle. I reach the stairs that would lead into the foyer. I keep walking straight as it led down a hallway. I remember the library and then I find a study or office. I also see a room with a pool table. Next door was a room with round tables and soft chairs, like a smoke room in a fancy hotel. I could see a bar across the wall. It looked he didn't spare one cent when remodeling this castle. Across the hall I see a room that was used for gambling. I could see table that were used for poker and blackjack. I could see slots that lined the wall. I saw another bar. I continue down the hall to reach a closed door. I crack the door to see a bedroom. The bed wasn't made as I heard the shower running. I see the bathroom door was open as I hear moaning. I close the door back to give them some privacy. I see a stair case that led into another tower. I found a room that had glass on all sides. I could see far in either direction. I see tables that have paint, crayons, pastels, and colored pencils. I see a painting of a man that was sitting on an easel.
I walk back down the stairs to the hallway. I pass by each room to the grand staircase. I walk down them as I go to the front door. It was unlocked. I open the door to see nothing but ocean. There is a walk way but I was grabbed from behind. I was thrown to the floor. I see Daniel standing above me. "Are you trying to kill your family?" "No, I was just looking around, I was just looking I promise." "I'll let it go for now but if it happens again, you will be punished." He left me on the floor as he walked back upstairs.

Blaine POV
We went to the lodge to meet Lily to sign papers but she was two hours late. Snowbird had ordered a slice of apple pie as we split it. "Why don't we go to her house to see if she forgot or something is wrong." She was right. "I'll pay for this and we will go check her house." I went to the register and paid. I took her hand as we walked out together. We made it to the house. I knocked a few times. We didn't get a reply. I knocked again "Lily, it's Blaine, are you here?" The door is locked. "I'm going to check around back and try the key that is left in the plant." She stayed put as I walked around and the key was still there. I hadn't been in this house since she had found out. I open the door and the first time we had sex was in her house was the kitchen floor. I walk in to see blood on the floor. "Lily" The blood led to the bed. The biggest puddle was in the kitchen. Something happened and nobody was here to help her. I grabbed her car keys and lock the door back. She wasn't here but her car was. I meet Birdy around by the front door. "There is blood all over the kitchen floor. We need to go to the hospital. Get in the car." We drove to the hospital. I parked as I rushed inside. She was behind me but was struggling to catch up with her belly. I go to the first desk that I see to ask the nurse. "I'm looking for woman that might have come in the last few days. She was almost 8 months pregnant. I'm the baby's father." She looked up at me. "Name?" "Lily Matthews" She checked on her computer.
"I will have a doctor come and talk to you. His office is the last one on this hall." I take Birdy's hand as we walked down the hall. I hear on the radio telling the doctor that we were coming. An older man was standing outside of his door. "Are you here about Ms. Matthews?" "Yes sir" "Come in and have a seat." "I'm Blaine York and this is my wife Snowbird." "Nice to meet you both, I'm Doctor Rice." We took a seat in the chairs that sat in front of his desk. "Last night, Ms. Matthews was brought in because she had been bleeding. She was brought in around two this morning. I had to do an emergency C-Section because we were afraid that the baby would suffocate from the blood. She had bleed so much that we couldn't save her." "Is the baby alright?" Birdy took my hand as we waited for his answer. "The baby is perfectly fine. He was born a few weeks early but he doing great. He is in the nursery right now." "What is my next step when it comes to taking care of Lily's body?" "We are doing an autopsy then you are able to take her. Did she have any relatives that she was in touch with?" "I don't know, she never talked about her family." He nodded his head as he stood from his chair. I shook his hand as he directed us to the nursery. We are led to the third floor as we see a sign that direct us down the hall. We find the glass that shows all of the babies. A nurse meets us as we tell her our name. She comes out with my son. He is beautiful. We sit down in chairs next to each other. We were looking down at him as he was sucking his pacifier. "What do you want to name him?" "I knew Lily liked the name Samuel Dean." "I think that would be a great name. We could call him Sammy when he is little." "Have you thought of a name for our third son that should be coming in the next six weeks?" "I like Liam." "That would be a great name and then I think he should have your father's name Bryan. Liam Bryan York" "Our boys, we need to try for a girl next time." "We really need to have a baby girl but that is up to you buddy." He laughed as he kissed me.
We made our way back to the boat because we needed to be home by nightfall. The family would be in for a surprise.

Snowbird POV
I was holding Sammy as we took the skiff home. I held him the entire time. We made it to shore as the sun was setting. He tied us off as he helped me out. We walked to the main house as everyone was settling down for dinner. He walked in first as he held the door open for me. They were talking among themselves as we came into the room. "We have a new family member, Samuel Dean York." Mom stood up from her seat. "Did Lily have her baby?" "She did last night when she had an emergency C-Section. She had started bleeding before she went into the hospital. He was born four weeks early but the doctors said he was just fine." Mom came over to hold her new grandchild. "He doesn't have any hair. I can't believe he is bald." Bear stood up and walked out the door. I guess it reminded him of Anastasia. Then Charlotte spoke up. "We were going to tell you guys tonight at dinner but we are having a baby too. We have been trying to tell you for weeks. We wanted to tell everyone at the right time." The family hugged her as she went to look for Bear.
