The first time it happened I was twelve years old. I had read books about time travel and they always interested me, but I knew it was fiction, until it happened to me. I was in my room playing some game on my computer when I felt my feet tingle. I thought maybe they were falling asleep or something, but then my legs were tingling and my whole body shortly after. The next thing I knew I felt like I was lifted from the desk chair and blacked out. I awoke in a forest it was dark and pretty cold. I got up a little too quick because I felt light headed. What was going on? Where was I?
I saw a light in the distance and started walking towards it. I heard a noise and jumped, it was just an owl. I told myself to calm down and keep walking. I got closer to the light and saw that it was a cabin. I started running towards it because I was so cold and needed help. I got to the front steps and knocked on the door. A blonde girl answered the door. She looked about fifteen and was wearing pajamas. She had a surprised look on her face.
"um...hello how can I help you?" Said the girl. "Hi my name is Annabel Johnson and I don't know where I am and I'm scared and really really cold!" I blurted out with tears in my eyes. "Come in..I'll get my mom. Hold on okay?" The girl said.
I waited for her by the door too scared to move. It was much warmer in here. I was happy for that. I heard voices and footsteps coming down the stairs. A women came down with the blond girl she had short blonde hair, purle glasses, and was also wearing pajamas.
"Hello honey,I'm Mady Williams and this is my daughter Nikki did you get lost in the woods?" Mady said with concern in her eyes. "No, I was in my bedroom and I blacked out and then I woke up in this forrest..." I said panick rising. "Well sit down by the fire my husband and my sons will be here in a bit okay? Don't worry we will figure out what happened. My husband is a doctor and he will make sure you are okay since you blacked out" "'kay" I mumbled.
I sat infront of the fire just staring at it for about 5 minutes when I heard a knock at the door. Nikki sat up and ran to open the door while Mady was in the kitchen making me hot chocolate.
"Hi dad! Don't be scared but this is Annabel and she just showed up at our doorstep. She seems confused, she says she blacked out?" Nikki told her father in what seemed a second. "Whoa Whoa wheres your mom? The father said. "In the Kithen. Mom! Dad is here!" Nikki yelled.
As we were waiting for Mady to come into the room all three of them stepped in looking straight at me. The father was tall with black hair and had a friendly smile that made me smile even though I was so scared. The older of the boys looked like if he was seventeen with blonde hair, dark blue eyes, and wore black rimed glasses. The younger of the boys was about thirteen years old and had black hair and blue eyes he also smiled and I blushed.
"Sweetie, this is Annabel Johnson. Annabel, this is my husband, Simon, my eldest son, Michael, and my youngest son, Josh." "Hello Annabel I hear your confused and blacked out?" said Simon. "Yes I...um...don't know how I got here or where I am...I just want to go home" I said. "How old are you, Annabel?" Simon asked. "I'm twelve." I answered. "And do you know todays date?" "Yeah, January 5..." "What year?" "2005" I said.
They all looked at eachother in shock. Simon then told me that I was in Denver Colorado. I thought, How did I get here? I live in Palm Springs, California. That thought imediately left when he told me it was Jan 5, 2250.
After that I would always return every year at the same time to the Williams house. I loved them so much they were my second family. Nikki was my best friend in the whole world and I had a huge crush on Josh. I spent every January with them for a whole month sometimes less sometimes more. I lived with my mom, Betty Johnson, and she knew about my traveling she was fine with it since it only happened once a year.
Five years later and I knew it was almost time to go back to the Williams' house. I had so much to tell Nikki I had my first real kiss at winterformal with Quint Papalimo and it was so great! He was a senior and owned a beemer. I broked it off with him though because he tried to have sex with me in the back of his car and I wassn't ready and he got upset because I wasn't "mature" enough for him. Oh well...I was packing all of my things I take to their house because just three years ago I found out I can take objects with me.
I had already said goodbye to mom and I was all ready to go. I felt it happened and I couldn't help but giggle because I was so happy to see them!
I managed tp appear right on their doorstep, I was getting better at this. I knocked and waited for someone to answer the door my stomac had butterflys. I was so delited when Josh oppened the door I jumped on him and he gave me a tight hug. He was just as beutiful as I remember him and that smile still made me melt.
"Hey Annie! I'm so glad your here ive missed you!" He said still holding on to my waist. "Me too Josh! Look at you eighteen and legal" I laughed. "Well your almost seventeen and looking good. Very good." He said with a wink. He always joked with me about my looks. I thought I was pretty average. I had brown hair that was passed my shoulders by a little and green eyes. I thought my bottom lip was too big and had a heart shaped face. "Bel your here! Mom, Dad she's here! Oh your so beautiful." Nikki said giving me a hug. Next to her was a man of about twenty, just like nikki, looking at me. "Oh sorry this is Cory my fiance!"She beemed. "Nice to meet you Cory I'm Ananbel." I said shaking his hand. "Nice to meet you too. I've heard a lot about you."he said smiling. I turned to Nikki. "Your fianced!"I shouted while checking out her massive rock.
Mady and Simon came down stairs and I ran to them to give them each hugs. "Wheres Mike? Is he not coming this year either?" I asked. I hadn't seen him since I was fourteen. After that he left home and the last I heard he was living in Montana being some kind of scientist. "He should be here by tomorrow morning." Mady said with a smile. I was so happy he was coming this year I really missed him he would always play chess with me even though he was five years older than me and we would go for walks in the forest and Josh would get so mad. I once heard Mike yell at him, "Dude first of all shes five years younger than me and second she's like a sister to me!"
