I Time Travel for Love (chp.6)

We were outside waiting for Nikki and Annabel to come down. I was sitting on the porch steps thinking about this morning. What a surprise that she came out in her towl. She doesn't know how crazy I was going looking at her in her towel. I was going to tell her happy birthday, but I didn't know I would do it like I did. Something about her just made me want to kiss her all of the time. I have always called her my pixie because she reminds me of one. She would always peek her head out of bushes and run around in the forest like if she was in a fantasy world. She always said she was a fairy and I would tease her that she was a pixie. Ever since then I have been calling her my pixie.
I stood up when I heard the door open up and Bel's beautiful laughter. I saw her and I thought I was going to pass out. She reminded me of the godesses they used to teach us about when I was in school. She was wearing a red strapless dress that went down to her knees with black strapped heels. I realised that I was holding my breath. I decided to act fast before Josh did.
"My lady..." I said putting my arm out for her.
"Thank you fine sir." She giggled.
I looked over at Josh just out of curiosity and I saw his head down and he walked in front of us. He seemed hurt I know we hardly get along, but he is still my little brother and I feel like I have to protect him. I felt bad, but I just couldn't let her go. I realised then that I loved her. It hit me hard and I smelled sunflowers, that's all I could smell lately, her beautiful scent. We got in the hover ship and flew away. We sat together in the back and she flipped her long golden hair back and revealed her neck. Her scent seemed stronger at her neck I don't know what made me do it, but I leaned in and kissed her neck. She jumped and looked over at me shocked.
"I'm sorry...I...I don't know what came over me, bel." I said pleadingly.
"Are you a vampire?" She giggled and looked out the window.
We got to the restaurant and we all got out. We checked in with the hostess and she took us to our seats. I pulled Bel's chair out and I saw a hint of a blush and a quick "thanks." I sat down next to her and Josh took the other seat next to her. I knew he was mad. He hadn't spoken the whole ride here and he is usually Mr.Chatty. They took our orders and told us to feel free to walk around while our food was being prepared. Nikki and Annabel gave eachother a look that said 'are you thinking what I'm thinking?'

I looked over at Nikki and I knew exactly what she was thinking. She grabbed Cory's hand. "You have to see the garden it's absolutely beautiful!" She said. "It's my favorite thing here." I said. I didn't want to feel like a third wheel and I noticed that Josh looked a bit sad all day. I thought, okay that's enough trying to avoid him because of the kiss. I just wanted us to be friends and happy again so I grabbed his hand and pulled him up.
"Please come with us." I said smiling at him. He smiled back and got up to go to the garden with us. It was a closed garden, but had a glass roof and the stars were so beautiful and shiny. The flowers always made me feel so happy. There were Acacia's, Aster's,Gladiolus', Honeysuckles', Iris', Jasmine's, Carnation's, and so many others. I loved flowers and knew a lot about them. My favorite were purple Lily's. It was so colorful and peaceful in this garden. I went straight to the fountain.
"Do you have a coin?" I asked Josh. He rumaged in his pocket and found a quarter. I turned around, closed my eyes, and threw it behind me to make a wish.
"What did you wish for?" Josh asked reaching for my hand.
"Don't make me say please I really want this wish to happen." I said with a smile.
"Okay, bel." He said.
I let go of his hand to twirl around by the fountain. I felt so happy I just needed to move. I got up on the fountain and sarted walking around the edge of it. I looked down at Josh and he was watching me with passion in his eyes. I blushed and he put his hand on my waist. I put my hands on his shoulders and he carried me down. He held me close and looked into my eyes.
"I never got to tell you Happy Birthday, fairy." He said.
"You haven't called me fairy in a while." I giggled.
"You really do look like a mystical fairy." He said smiling down at me. He leaned down so that our breath was mingling.
"Happy birthday." He whispered and kissed me.
My heart was beating franticly as the kiss was deepened. The heat and the pleasure of the kiss was overwhelming. I thought how wrong this was, to make ourselves believe this would work out. A sound of pleasure and pain escaped from myself as I pushed urgently against him and willed my mind to go blank. We pulled our lips apart as Nikki yelled for us that our food was ready. I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Your not going to try to avoid me again are you?" He asked. I hugged him tight and said, "no."
We walked back inside to eat and the rest of the night was great. They all gave me my presents and sang happy birthday to me. We got back in the hover ship and went home. I was getting ready for bed, putting my sleepwear on. I slept in my underwear but wore a cami instead of a bra. I hated too much clothes while I was sleeping because I hated feeling constricted while I slept.
I heard a knock at the door and went to open it. It was Nikki. "Hey what's up come in." I said going to sit crossed leg on the bed. With Nikki I never bothered to cover up. We were practically sisters, we got dressed infront of eachother all the time. She sat down next to me.
"I saw you and Josh kissing today." She said looking concerned.
"I know it wasn't the first kiss. I don't know what to do Nikki I think I'm in love with him." I told her. She hugged me and started crying.
"Nikki? What is it? I'm supposed to be the one crying." I said rubbing her back.
"I'm sorry I just know he loves you too and I love you and we all love you and I wish you didn't have to go back, but It's not up to you and Josh is going to be so heart broken and so are you and you don't have us back home." She blurted out while crying.
I started to cry also and we held eachother tight. I felt strong arms come around both of us to hug us. We looked up and there was Mike looking concerned.
"What's wrong my girls?" He said whipping away our tears. We both hugged him back and started crying. We were a mess.
"I don't want to go home and Nikki doesnt want me to go home and I love you all." I said doing my best to say it all in one breath before I started crying again. He kissed my forehead and then kissed Nikki's forehead.
"I know you don't want to go back, Bel. Just stop crying both of you, please? My girls?" He said looking at us. We both nodded and he handed us tissue.
"What do you guys need? I'll bake you guys cookies if that will make you feel better or i'll took you guys into bed and read to you." He said.
We laughed and he made me feel so much better. Nikki gave me a hug and appologized for breaking down like that and went back to her room, leaving mike and I alone.
