I Time Travel for Love (chp.5)

I went back into my room and decided to write a bit more of my book. I wrote fantasy books for children. In the future books were so different. They didn't really make childrens book that much. Annabel brought some back for me ever since I told her about my dream to write fantasy books. I do my own illustrations also. I'm writting a fantasy book about time travel right now. Yes, it's inspired by Annabel. It's all I can think about lately. I sit and give the demands to my computer, but I can't write. I decide to draw some of my characters. Guess who I decide to draw? Annabel. Who could have thought a girl could be in my thoughts all night and all day? Thinking of the kiss makes me crave more.
I sit and wonder why she left like that. She looked scared, maybe I shouldn't have kissed her. I know I'm only making it harder on myself because we can't be together. She's from another time! She's dead right now, I mean if she wasn't here. I decide to search her on my computer to see what her history is. I know I shouldn't but I have to know...
"Computer, search Annabel Johnson."
The computer reads, Annabel Johnson (1992-2092?) Annabel was a succesful English High School teacher. She was happily married (husband unknown) and had three children, Jake Joshua, Nikki Maddeline, and Simon Michael. Annabel lived the last couple of years retired in Colorado, USA with her husband (unknown). Annabel was one of the first known 'Travelers' but was very discreet about it and only talked to very few reporters.
Interview with True magazine: Annabel Marlene (2034)
"Annabel, why are you so reserved about your time traveling? It's a gift you should be embrassing it." Reporter.
"I love that I am blessed with this gift. It brought me the best experience in my life. I feel like I don't have much to say because I'm not a full traveler it only happens to me once a year. Not like all the other travelers that have so much to say." Annabel.
"Can you tell me where you travel to? And who you see?" Reporter.
"Yes, I travel to the future every year. To the same place. Colorado with the Williams' family." Annabel.
"You say it with love in your eyes, I see it. Can you tell me why?" Reporter.
"I found love in the future, I guess you can say a second family."Annabel. And it went on with me searching Annabel and her children. I even saw a picture of Annabel when she's in her thirtie's and she is still so beautiful.

I woke up the next morning. It was early and I noticed snowing! I loved snow! I hardly ever saw it where I lived back home. I woke up so happy. I grabbed a dark purple sweatshirt and jeans to wear today. I went into the shower to take a steaming hot shower. The steam and the hot water were drawing out all the tension in my body. It had been there since Josh gave me that breathtaking kiss. I just didn't know what to think. I was trying to avoid him because I still didn't know what to think of the kiss. So far it was working.
I shut my eyes to let the hot water flow over me. I had no right to be in his life. I couldn't stay here and I definitely could NOT fall in love with Josh. It was a forbidden love that we could never cure. I would be leaving in a month and wouldn't be back until another year. Stupid time travel genes. I sighed and turned the water off.
I wrapped the towel around me and went to my room to get ready. As I was getting out I tried to run across to my room, but bumped straight into someone. And well...MY TOWEL FELL! I turned bright red as I looked straight into Mike's eyes.
"Don't look down or I will kill you, got it?" I said. He just laughed and kept his eyes on mine.
"Not looking I swear...you want me to get your towel?" He asked starting to bend down. I grabbed him by his shirt collar and gave him an evil look.
"Close your eyes, Mike." I said. He did as I said. I bent down to pick up my towel and wrap it around me. I was about to run into my room when he grabbed my wrist.
"I have something to tell you..." He said smiling at me.
"Can't it wait until I'm dressed?" I said looking around in fear that someone else would come out and see me in my towel.
"I need to tell you now, it's important." He said looking very serious.
"Well come into my room then, I don't want anyone else seeing me in my towel." I said rolling my eyes and pulling him into my room.
"So, what is it?" I said trying not to look into his eyes. He walked closer to me and kissed my cheek. My heart quickened. "Happy birthday, my pixie." He whispered in my ear and walked out of my room closing the door behind him. I stood there staring at the door. My heart, blood, and brain were going insane. I took a deep breath and smiled. He sure was something else. I didn't even remember it was my birthday. Seveteen wow! I finished getting ready and hurried downstairs by the time I was done it was 9:30am. I walked into the kitchen to make some toast because my stomach was grumbling. I walked in and there was Mady, Nikki, and Simon making me breakfast.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" They all yelled in unison. The rest of the morning went by fast. They told me they were taking me to my favorite restaurant, The Vino Blanc. It was a restaurant on a ship. It was so beautiful. They had gardens and the stars were so close, well because we were in the sky. I knew exactly what I was going to wear and Nikki was doing my hair. I was anticipating this all day that the day surprisingly went by fast when Nikki announced we had to get ready.
