Len: Hey Neru!

I turned around shyly, slightly blushing when i heard Len call my name. All his friends playfully pushed him towards me and he accidentally fell on me.

Len: S-Sorry. Stupid friends

Len helped me back up and i immediately unwrinkled my skirt.
He nervously looked around while he fiddled with his fingers; it's really cute. I blushed again, staring down at my feet that were wearing my usual black and white sandals.

Len: So~ my friends kept telling me you were a good singer so can you maybe sing for us after school?

I immediately smiled as i held onto the sleeves of my bag and jumped happily.

Neru: Of course!

••After School••

I was packing my things in class when unexpectedly, Len and his friends walked in. Len helped me pack the rest of my things which made me shake a little, causing him to constantly ask me if i was alright. I just nodded and zipped up my bag since we finished putting my things inside.

Kaito: So Neru, sing for us *giggles* you have a really nice voice

I nodded with a smile and ran to the front of the class while the boys seated themselves. Len watched me with hardly any interest but i just ignored it and began singing.

I sang to the top of my voice and i tried so hard to impress Len and i felt as if i was. Although, i did have my eyes closed because i didn't want to see his reaction until the end.

Before i even finished the song everyone started bursting to laughter.

Kaito: See Len! I told you she has a funny voice!

Everyone laughed harder and so did Len. He was having so much fun and to make me feel even more of an embarrassment, everyone was pointing at me while slapping their legs.

Len: You're right! *laughs more* She's an embarrassment to the word itself!

Those words...hurt me so much.
I began to feel tears fall down my cheeks as i clenched my fist and gritted my teeth in frustration. I was such an idiot! To think that Len actually wanted to hear me...

I stomped to Len, still having a stream of tears falling down as i faced him.

Neru: You are nothing but a jerk! You embarrassed me and hurt me! When i come back i will DEFINITELY show you how much i've improved! I will beat you at dancing, singing and performing Len! So you better watch out because i will never stop until i've made you feel what you just made me feel! Heartbreak!

I grabbed my bag and wiped my tears as i ran out of class.

That's a promise i will definitely work hard to achieve – so watch out Len Kagamine...
