We started reading a Shakespeare book, so that has gotten me into the mood of using Shakespearean language. THis was written during class, and is my first time, so please, comment and help me out here.
If thou hast thy heart,
Art thou not guilty
Of foolish love?
If thou hast my heart,
Dost thou love me?
If thou are the owner
Of thy heart,
Then my heart is thine.
If thy love love for me
Was all but forbidden,
Would thou still love me?
Thy father has forbidden me,
Thy mother has forsaken me,
Thy brother has forsworn me,
Thy sister has not forgiven me.
Art thou not afraid?
Dost thou tremble in fear,
hearing all that I have done?
Hast thou decided to leave?
Thou must know,
That my love for thee,
Even forbidden,
Has always been thine,
And thy heart,
Along with mine,
Has always been thine.
