YEP I'M BACK NOW HAHA

*~*~*

One thing I noticed as I was walking down the corridors of the school, was that James was being extra over protective today. I didn't understand why; it was more unusual than really anything that's happened lately. It's all been quite boring here, which was actually surprising.

You could say that it's kind of been like this since my dream, but never this protective. He practically growled at anyone else who looked at me. I was honestly really confused. It was usually just an arm around me or some comforting glances when I looked worried.

I didn't really mind, honestly. I had found a particular liking that I had towards James over the past few days. Of course, he was still really annoying, but I mean, I could deal with it now. Or at least more than I could earlier.

He had gotten me permission to skip classes for a few days after my nightmare, up until now. They told him I was fine and had to get back. I didn't blame them. A few days of no classes was a lot to ask since it was really just a nightmare.

However, James thought different. He was convinced it was true; or might become true. So now he tried whatever he could to convince people I wasn't "evil", but to no avail.

Now, we were on our way to breakfast, for the first time in 3 or 4 days. I was nervous, of course. James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter were the only people who have seen me in this short amount of time. I was sure people were at least somewhat suspicious or thought even worse of me than they did before.

Really, I wasn't as nervous about the actual students as I should've been. I was way more nervous about the Marauder's fangirls at this point, who had been sending me dirty looks ever since they noticed me. Annoying, yes. But I could deal with it myself.

James doesn't know. Neither does Sirius, Remus, or Peter. And I didn't plan on telling them anytime soon. They'd just have to respect that some things, I like to keep to myself as to not burden them with anything I say.

Back to the earlier topic, I assumed that was why James was being so overprotective. It was my first time seeing anyone in days. He had a right to be protective. I think he thinks I'm going to get hurt if I'm on my own, even though I'm the one whose technically supposed to be protecting him. Oh how the tables have turned.

So as we made our way down to breakfast, with looks of envy from girls (and some boys), James put his arm around me tight, and kept it there the whole way.

We sat at the usual spot. Sirius immediately sat up to hug me. He swung around on the bench and stood up, walking towards me at a quick rate and then embracing me.

"You okay?" He whispered in my ear, "for sure this time?"

I rolled my eyes at him, "Yes, Sirius. I'm perfectly fine,"

He looked at James for confirmation.

"Sirius," James sighed, "You just saw her yesterday."

"So?"

"So, you should know if she's okay or not," He said with a chuckle.

I smiled and let them lead me to the table. Sirius pushed at my shoulders until I sat, then both him and James began to absolutely pile the food onto my plate.

"Whoa," I whispered, "calm down you two. I can take care of myself."

The both glanced at each other, but put everything down and sat down at their own seats.

"I'm sorry, El," James said with a sigh, "but we've been really worried about you lately. We know you can take care of yourself; in fact, you've been taking care of me too. We just want you to let us care about you for a bit, alright?"

I groaned, but nodded.

"Fine," I said, with a shake of my head.

They grinned at me.

"Is this you giving us permission to baby you?" Sirius asked suspiciously.

I rolled my eyes again.

"Sure, sure, whatever you want."

"YES!"

What did I just get myself into, I wondered.

*~*~*

Oh. My. God.

I honestly regret my decision now. I don't know why I decided to allow them to do this to me. They pretty much held onto me, walking me to class the whole way. We got such weird looks when we were walking, I really just wanted to hide. I was already fed up.

But now, I had to deal with the next class, and the one after that, and the one after that, and so on and so forth.

They were such dorks.

So, now we're in Potions class, and they decided it would just be a great idea to help me make the potion I already knew how to make from past experience. However, they didn't know how to make it. In the end, they basically ended up ruining my entire potion.

Now they were going to have to deal with a very unhappy Electra.
