A Lovely Betrayal

Chapter Three

I hum along to Beside You smiling while Harry’s arms were wrapped around my waist my back against his chest. He kisses my neck lightly and I giggle as we sway back and forth to the music. I can feel Ashton’s sad eyes on me and I smile waving at him. He smiles lightly as he bangs away on his drums the girls filling the arena screaming at the four of them happily. Eliza, Hadleigh, Carson, and Ashley dance around us like idiots making me laugh. Niall comes out of nowhere dragging Ashley onto the stage. She squeals as he pulls her away. The dance around the stage the 5SOS boys grinning as the girls scream Niall’s name. Ashley’s grin was the biggest I’d ever seen as he twirled her around the stage. Hadleigh and Carson’s identical black hair whipped around them as they danced while Liz laughed at them. The twin girls laugh and drag Liz into a hug.

                “Babe I have to go get ready. I’ll see you in a bit. I love you.” Harry whispers in my ear and I grin turning my face to the side to press my lips to his. He smiles into the kiss before pulling away.

                “I love you to now go before Lou comes searching for you like last time.” He smiles kissing my cheek before releasing me and darting down the hall. Liz coos with happiness and I giggle.

"You guys are just too adorable! Ugh why cant i find someone like that!" she whines flipping her blonde hair over her shoulder. I laugh as the boys come running off stage. Luke stumbles over a cord plowing into Liz she shrieks as the fall towards the ground. His arms wrap securely around her waist flipping as they fall so she lands on his chest with a thud.

"Shit are you okay Liz?" He asks raising his head to state at her. She smiles lightly.

"yeah I'm okay. Are you?"

"my head hurts" he groans pouring. She giggles kissing his forehead and his cheeks flood with color.

"Come on let's go get you some ice." She pushes herself off of him standing up and offering him her hand. He takes it with a smile letting her pull him up and drag him away. i giggle at the site of my five foot cousin dragging the tall boy away. I feel someone next to me and glance over at Ashton. He smiles at me weakly making my heart ache. Since our conversation a week ago we'd been walking on eggshells around each other. It was the hardest thing ever because for some reason all i wanted to do was be close to him.

"hey Tatum, girls." he says his eyes never leaving mine. He scratches the back of his neck nervously. "Tate can i talk to you for a bit?"

"Course Ash." i glance at my cousins whl were oblivious to us chatting with Michael and Calum. "I'll see you later guys."

We turn and walk down the hall a smile makes its way onto my face when i see Harry and he boys walking towards us. he smiles reaching out and brushing his fingers against mine. He disappears and i glance over at Ashton and he looks slightly annoyed. He walks quickly to his dressing room, yanking the door open quickly. i follow him quietly and he locks the door before turning to stare at me. i watch him carefully as he runs his hand through his hair.

"Tatum I know this is so wrong. i shouldnt even be asking you this. God. Will you go on a date with me? Shit I know this is beyond wrong." he sits down on the couch burying his head in his hands. My eyes are wide as i make my way towards him. I sit down next to him and wrap my arms around him. He jumps but hugs me back buryong his face in my neck.

"I know how you feel Ashton. I know nothing about you, but i just want to be close to you. Id love to go on a date with you but I dont see how it would work. I want to though." i whisper and he pulls back looking into my eyes. He raises his hand cupping my cheek. a smile spreads across my face as and idea pops into my head."The boys have a photo shoot. Tomorrow. You can come hang out with me in our hotel room!"
