Tatum POV

I hum quietly as I stare down at Owen’s sleeping form in my arms. Harry still didn’t know that I had kicked him out, the fact weighed on my mind every day that Ashton spent with me and the twins. I would have to face him eventually, but I don’t know what I would say. How do you tell your husband that you’ve kicked him out of the house and are filing for divorce while he’s lying in a hospital bed after being in a coma for months? You shouldn’t have to. It shouldn’t even be a possibility, but he’d lied, about the most important aspect of my children’s’ lives. He kept them from their father, the man who should have been at doctors appointments and held my hand when I brought them into the world. He should have been there and those were moments that he would never get back. I hear the door open down stairs and stand knowing Ashton was finally back. I cuddle Owen close moving into the hallway towards the stairs I freeze when I see the familiar mop of curly hair moving up the stairway. I stare at him as he moves closer the emotionless look on his face telling me he knows.

“Harry, when did you get out of the hospital?” I say lightly, his green eyes are red and he sighs.

“This morning. Louis told me.”

“I figured.” I whisper. “What are you doing here Harry?”

“I came to apologize Tatum.” He says staring at Owen.

“I really don’t think you should be here Harry. I am honestly not in the mood to see you right now Harry. My attorney will contact you and your legal team when the paperwork has gone through.”

“Paperwork? What paperwork?” he asks furrowing his eyebrows.

“The divorce papers Harry. You honestly didn’t think I would stay after this did you?” I say quietly raising my eyebrows.

“Yes I did! I thought we could work this out!” He yells and Owen squeals unhappily.

“You thought that we could work it out? After what you did?!” I hiss. “You tried to steal a man’s children Harry! You tried to steal their father from them! That was not your choice to make Harry!”

“You were my wife! I wanted to have a family! I wasn’t going to let that slip through my fingers!”

“Harry! You tried to take another man’s family away from him! I would have stayed with you! We would have made it work! Ashton could come visit them! You tried to take his CHILDREN away from him! You lied to me! To everyone!”

He takes a step forward and I back up holding Owen protectively to my chest as he screams.

“What I did was to try and save our marriage, and our family.”

“Well that sure worked out swell didn’t Harry! Get out. Leave. I don’t want you anywhere near my children or me. JUST LEAVE!” I screech and he clenches his fist and turns plowing it through the drywall next to him before storming down the stairs and out the front door. I rock Owen slowly whispering to him trying to calm him down angry tears streaming down my cheeks. I hear the door open again and I launch down the stairs prepared to scream at Harry again but when my eyes meet blue ones my heart flutters with relief. Ashton.

“Tate what’s wrong? Why’s he screaming?” He says quickly hurrying forward.

“Harry was here. We were screaming at each other. It scared him.”

“Are you okay? Did he do anything? Did he hurt you guys?” Ashton says frantically taking my face in his hands checking me over and giving Owen a once over.

“He punched a hole through the wall upstairs. He didn’t touch us, we’re fine.”

“Good. Did he say anything?”
