For some reason as my mother curls my ahir I am void of all emotion. This should be the happiest day of my life, so why do I feel so numb? I stare at the beautiful bride in the mirror, but it's not me. It couldn't be. I would be estatic to marry Harry, but I'm not, I could care less, the only thing I was looking forward to about this day was seeing Ashton again. My mum grips my shoulders before putting on my veil.

"You look beautiful my dear." She says with tears in her eyes. I force a smile and she kisses the top of my head. "There's someone here to see you."

I look up at her confused as the door creaks open. Smiling I stand up smoothing out my skirt. Louis smiles at me lightly and steps into the room.

"I'll give you two a moment." She steps out of the room closing the door and I collapse in his arms.

"I know Tate." He whispers. "This is going to be hard, but promise me you'll take care of him. He's my b-best friend. I-I just want him to be happy."

"I will Louis. I swear I will make him as happy as I can." I whisper. He nods hugging me tightly.

"Let's go get you married shall we?" He says with a light chuckle. Nodding I let him lead me out of the room to my father and cousins. I take a deep breath and loop my arm through my father's. I watch as my cousin's enter the sanctuary. Dad pulls on my arm and I let him lead me through the double doors. Everyone stands smiling as I walk down the aisle. My eyes roam over the smiling faces searching for the blue eyes I know will haunt me for the rest of my life. When I find him my heart breaks. His eyes are full of tears a fake smile on his face. i want to reach out to him, but I restrain myself and smile at him gently. The ceremony passes in a blur, all I can think about is Ashton's broken smile. I jump when Harry's lips press against mine and I automatically wrap my arms around his shoulders and he lifts me off the ground as the room cheers.  He picks me up bridal style and carries me back down the aisle. We climb into a car that takes us to the reception venue. I smile when I see Niall's blonde hair bobbing through the crowd towards the stage. The boys join him on the stage and Harry pull's me onto the dance floor as the music for Truly Madly Deeply floats out of the speakers. He takes my hand and places the other on my lower bac swaying us around the dance floor singing softly in my ear. As the song ends he dips me and presses his lips against mine making everyone cheer once again. I smile as my father cuts in while Harry moves to dance with his mother. Finally I escape moving to sit down for a bit when Ashton appears holding out his hand.

"May I have this dance Mrs. Styles?" He says quietly and I nod taking his hand. We twirl around the dance floor staring into one anothers eyes.

"Can I steal my bride away Ash?" Harry's voice says from our left and I turn to smile at him.

"Course. Congrats you two." He smiles at us and disappears into the crowd. Harry pulls me to the cake tabe and we're surrounded by our friends and families as we shove cake in each other's faces. Harry helps me wipe the icing off of my face laughing. "Um guys can I get you're attention please? Oh all right." I whirl around my eyes wide to see Ashton standing on the stage a flute of Champagne in his hand. "I would like to make a toast to the happy couple. Harry you are a lucky guy. Tatum is an amazing girl. She's become one of my best friends and I wouldn't want her to be with anyone else. Make her happy bro." He raises his glass to us staring straight at me. "We have a new song and I thougt we should play it for the first time here at your wedding." My heart pounds in my chest as Harry's finger intertwine with mine.

For a while we pretended

That we never had to end it

But we knew we had to say goodbye

You were crying at the airport

When they finally closed the plane door

I could barely hold it all inside
