Tatum POV

My eyes flutter open and I set up slowly rubbing my eyes . I run my hand over my stomach and Owen moves under my palm. I smile lightly glancing around at Harry and I’s bedroom searching for him. Shrugging I wander into the bathroom and turn on the water to fill the bathtub. Humming quietly as I undress and pour bubble bath into the steaming water. I sigh as I slip into the hot water closing my eyes letting my muscles relax. I take the time to shave my legs which is extremely difficult when you have a basketball for a stomach.  As I climb out I whack my elbow on the edge of the tub earning a string of curse words from my mouth. I dry off and pull on a pair of leggings and Harry’s sweater over my underwear. I wander back into the bedroom and flop onto the bed running my fingers over my stomach smiling as Owen dances beneath my fingertips.

My eyebrows knit together when I hear muffled singing coming from down the hall. I slip out of bed and creep into the hallway padding barefoot towards the voice. One of the guest bedroom doors is wide open. I move closer and lean against the door frame watching my husband move the paint roller over the wall singing aloud.

“Isn’t she lovely, Isn’t she wonderful, Isn’t she precious, Less than one minute old, I never thought through love we’d be, Making one as lovely as she, But isn’t she lovely made from love.” He sings his dimples making deep imprints in his cheeks. I smile as Owen dances dramatically under my hand and watch him for a while ignoring the gnawing question at the back of my mind. I cough lightly and he whirls around. I giggle at the sight before me paint smeared over his cheeks and all over his bare chest. “Tate I didn’t know you were up I uh um”

“What are you doing? Did you bring me home from the hospital?”

“Um yeah. I did the doctor said Owen was just sleeping.”

“What brought on the need to redesign our guest room?” I say and his cheeks flush as he runs his hand through his hair smearing paint through it.

“I um just thought Lou would like this color better.”

“Oh I’m sure Louis will just love that pink zebra print rug and chevron pillows.” I mutter motioning to the closet and his cheeks turn redder. “What’s going on Harry?”

“It was supposed to be a surprise.”

“Why?” I say stepping into the room he sighs and grabs my hand setting me on the window seat as he moves to the closet. He lugs a box out and it takes me a moment to realize what it is. “Is that a…”

“Crib. Yes. The doctor told me we’re having twins. A boy and a girl. I wanted to make her nursery for you and surprise you to tell you about her.” My hand flies to my mouth tears in my eyes.

“We’re having two babies?” I whisper and he nods crouching in front of me with a smile.

“So we have another name to pick.” He says and I smile tears of joy streaming down my cheeks.

“Who else knows?”

“Your mum, Louis, Tom, my mum and sister, and Ashton.”

“Ashton?” I whisper my heart stuttering.

“He came to the hospital to check on you.” I nod slowly before smiling at my husband.

“Why don’t we get you cleaned up? We could have all Tom and Lou over to decorate for Christmas. Its in three weeks you know.” I say standing up and leading him down the hallway towards the bedroom. “You go shower. I’m going to call Lou and make some breakfast gotta feed Owen and our baby girl.”

He smiles before pecking me on the lips and disappearing into the bathroom and closing the door. I grab my phone and pad down the stairs heading straight to the kitchen. I dial Louis and set my phone on the counter putting it on speaker as I rummage through the cabinets.
