My heart pounds against my chest as I stare at the ceiling blankly, my mind repeating my conversation with my mother over and over. I was getting married in August. Grabbing my phone I text Harry quickly.

To Hazza <3: Babe can you call me as soon as you can? It’s urgent. I love you.

From Hazza<3: What’s going on are? Are you all right?

Before I can text back Harry’s smiling face lights up the screen of my I-phone.

“Hello?” I whisper my voice hoarse from crying.

“Tatum baby are you all right? Have you been crying?”

“I’m fine Harry. Just a sore throat.” I lie quickly “But that’s not why I wanted you to call. My mother called.”

“And that’s an urgent occurrence?” He says his voice slightly annoyed.

“Yes harry because she wants us to get married in August. I’d say it’s an urgent occurrence.” I snap and I hear his sharp intake of breath.”

“Au-August?” His voice trembles. “Why so soon?”

“I don’t know. She called me after you left. She didn’t really give me a choice.” I mutter and I can hear him sigh. “Please don’t be mad at me.”

“I’m not mad baby. Just means I get to argue with you about paint colors sooner.” He says and I can hear the slight smile in his voice. “I have to go Tate. I love you.”

“I love you too.” I say and I hear the phone click off as he hangs up. I climb out of bed slowly my head pounding as I dropped the duvet the cool air making me shiver. I pull on my underwear and bra thrown carelessly on the ground last night in our hurry to get into bed. I yank on his Hipsta Please tank top and a pair of skinny jeans before snagging my brush off the dresser and yanking it through my hair ridding myself of my tangled messy sex hair. Banging on the door makes me jump and I toss the brush to the side padding across the carpet to the door. I stand on my tip toes peeking through the peep hole a smile growing on my face when I see Ashton’s face. I rip the door open reaching out and yanking him inside. He laughs as I throw my arms around him. “Is it awkward if I say I missed you.”

“No because I missed you too.” He whispers his eyes boring into mine. He pushes the door shut pressing me against it crashing his lips to mine. My lips move against his forcefully he groans as I tug his bottom lip between my teeth and drag my fingers through his hair. He pulls away too soon and I let my head fall back against the door his head drops into the crook of my neck his hot breath fanning across my skin. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have I-“

“It’s okay Ash.” I whisper stroking his hair. “I kissed you back. Come on.”

I drag him to the bed and push him down onto the mattress. I crawl up next to him and he wraps his arms around me pulling me onto his lap. He twirls a piece of my long blonde hair around his finger as he stares at me his blue eyes searching mine.

“Tell me about your life.” He whispers and I grin launching into full story mode as he listens intently laughing when I tell him about the time Hadleigh, Carson, Liz, and I stole all my mother’s bras and tried to make a raft in my pool. I giggle along with him and tell him about my family, my hopes, dreams, and goals.

“Your turn.” I whisper with a small smile. He nods pursing his lips thinking of where to start. He grins broadly.

“When I was seven my cousin made me dress up as an elf and run around the neighborhood yelling that Santa was coming to town.” He says grinning. I laugh loudly and he chuckles before continuing to portray his life his words surrounding me painting beautiful pictures of a happy childhood and an amazing beginning in the band. “And then I met you.”
