 "Are you okay?"

"It's my mom..." Xander trailed off quietly, "I don't know what happened, they're not telling me anything and-" he began explaining, Allison could hear the panic in her best friends voice.

"Hold on," She said, as she looked over to sleeping Jimmy and softly got out of bed to put on some regular clothes, "I'll be right there."

She speedily put on her shoes and looked around their room for her purse.

"Dammit!" She whispered to herself, as Jimmy stirred slightly. Allison froze, should she wake up and tell him? Would it really matter if she did or not?

She lost her train of thought when she finally located her bag on the chair in the corner. Walking over the sprawl of clothing on the floor she grabbed it from the chair and headed for the door. On the way, she tripped slightly on Jimmy's phone charger chord. Stumbling, she caught herself but not before hitting the door handle with her hand.

"Ow!"

"Baby?" Jimmy asked groggily, slowly sitting up and rubbing his eyes, "You okay, what's goin on?"

"Hey," She responded, "I just hurt myself, I'm fine."

"Where are you going?" He asked in confusion, noticing her clothing change and her purse.

"Xander just called me." She breathed.

"A, It's 4 in the morning." Jimmy stated, "C'mon." He said giving her a 'look'.

"Jimmy he's in trouble, I have to go." She shrugged, she knew he wouldn't understand this.

"Alli, my mom's coming today, remember?" He asked, "You're just gonna leave me."

"Shit, I forgot." She admitted, "I'm not gonna be gone too long, I'll be back to spend a bunch of time with you guys, what's the big deal?" She questioned, noticing he was making his classic mad face.

"You're always choosing him." He shook his head.

"What?" Allison asked in disbelief, "What the hell are you talking about."

"You two are always together, and half the times I want to see you and can't are because you're with him."

"You can't be serious?" She asked, rolling her eyes internally.

"Maybe you love him." Jimmy shrugged.

"I can't believe we're talking about this again." Allison sighed heavily, "Jimmy, he is my closest friend, you wouldn't be saying this if he were a girl."

"Well, you don't have that many close 'girl' friends." Jimmy brought up.

"Yeah, well because that's always worked out great for me," She said sarcastically, "Like, Kelly, right?"

"Wow!" Jimmy exclaimed, getting angry enough to stand up now, "That was a mistake, I told you that, you know that." He said, approaching her, "Hell, there were so many girls when I was gone that I could've been with, but you know what, I didn't."

"Oh, wow!" She said sarcastically, feeling small tears forming in her eyes, "Good job!" She said cynically, slowly clapping her hands together, "You did what you were supposed to! Didn't know it was that difficult to be faithful to me."

She wasn't going to just stand there, she felt hurt. Like it was some big accomplishment that he passed up being with other women?

"Allison," Jimmy said, taking a deep breath, "I love you; but that's it." He shook his head, "It's him or me."
