"Hey." Allison smiled, as she woke up the next morning seeing Jimmy was already awake beside her.
"Wassup sleepy head?" He asked, raising an eyebrow with a smile.
"Nothin." She sighed, her eyes fluttering closed again.
"Aye," Jimmy snapped his fingers, awakening her again, "We can't sleep all day today."
"Ugh." She frowned, burying her head into his chest, "Why not."
"We have that benefit thing later." He reminded her.
"Fuck." She mumbled, keeping her face in place. Jimmy just laughed as he brought his fingers up and started gently rubbing her back.
"I'll make you guys pancakes." He enticed, bringing her chin up.
"Who is 'you guys'?" He laughed, looking around the room for this other person, "Is Taj here or something?"
"No," Jimmy rolled his eyes, "I mean you and this one." He continued, rubbing her belly.
"Hmm." Allison smiled softly, "Fine, we're coming." She giggled, getting out of bed with the help of Jimmy's hand. He dragged her out to the kitchen at let her go to sit at one of the chairs by the counter. Allison quickly got up and started getting some of the ingredients out.
"What're you doin?" He asked, "I got it."
"Stop," She said giving him a look, "I'm not trying to be stuck in a fire, just let me help."
"Not funny." He shook his head, as he gave into her assistance.
"Mhhh, but I am though." She teased.
"Alright," He sighed with a chuckle, "Now shh before I change my mind." Just as the last words came out of his mouth, Allisons phone started ringing.
"Ugh," She groaned, going over to her ringing phone on the other side of the room.
"Who is it?" He asked, curiously mixing some blueberries into their pancake batter.
"My boyfriend," She joked picking up, "Hello?"
"Very funny." Jimmy said mockingly, going back to the pancakes.
"It's your Mom," Allison revealed, coming up behind Jimmy with the phone in her hand, "She wants to talk to you." She said, wrapping her arms around him as she gave him the phone.
"Mom?" He asked into the phone.
"Jimmy, why do you have a phone if you don't even answer it?"
"Sorry," He said, "We just got up a little bit ago and now I'm-"
"I don't want to hear it," She cut him off, "Listen," She began, "I need you to come by tonight at around five, I'm planning something for Allison but it's a surprise."
"No mom, I can't." He said, as Allison took the batter away from him and started spooning some onto the griddle.
"Jimmy." She said sternly, "Only for a half an hour, please."
"Mom," He said, crossing his arms and leaning against the counter, "Me and A have this benefit thing tonight, I can't."
"What's up?" Allison mouthed, flipping one of the pancakes.
"Hold on," Jimmy responded into the phone, then slightly pulling it away from his face, "She said she needs my help with something tonight at five, but I keep telling her we have that thing and-"
"No go," Allison nodded, "Just meet me there at like 6, I think that's when the dinner part is."
"You sure?" He questioned, raising his eyebrows, she just nodded again and gave him a smile as she turned her attention back to their breakfast.
