Sorry for the late update. Too much on my plate this weekend and It didn't go well at all... Well besides the fact I went to Denny's at four in the morning with my dad but that's beside the point!

"Shorty, wake up. It's time for dinner." A hand rested on my shoulder as it shook me gently. I groaned in annoyance and turned the other way in my sweet and soft bed. "Oh come on! We have to talk about some stuff!" Liu yelled. Knowing this stuff is about our parents, Jane, and Jeff, I had to get up. I groaned again and sat up. I looked down at myself to see my notebooks and pencils everywhere. 'Probably fell asleep doing homework.' I gave out a yawn and stretched my arms and back. "What time is it?" I ask him. He pulls out his new phone and hands it to me. The screen read 7:30. I gave him back his phone and took the covers off of me before setting my feet on the cold hard ground. My vision got blurry for a while but soon adjusted as I held on Liu for dear life. Only in my black tank top and jeans, I went down to the dining room. Marshal and Storm sat opposite of each other with files littered on the table. Probably about my family and whatnot. "If I knew we were gonna have files for dinner, I would've ordered from Dairy Queen." I tiredly said as I sat next to Roy. I folded my arms on the table and rested my forehead on them. Three chuckles rung around the room and a hand patted my back. "Good morning sleepyhead." Hunter said. "Isn't it supposed to be good night?"I confusedly asked as I lifted my head.

I was truly confused when it came to this situation. I mean if a person woke up after morning hours but before midnight, would it be considered good evening, or good night? Or would it even be good afternoon? Oh well. "You know, I never really thought about it like that. Interesting." Roy said. Wait... "I said my thoughts out loud, didn't I?" I asked. Liu -who sat beside Hunter- laughed and nodded. Lovely... I just rolled my eyes. I stared down at one of the files and read the name mentally. Margaret Woods... I reached for the file and opened its contents. An essay fell out. Half a page long, medium sized text font. Ariel font, even. They typed this on a Microsoft document and got it to fit the page. I skimmed through it catching a few words through the whole thing: Stabbed, suspect, sanity, Cynthia, 'X', Slender.

The essay said, "Margaret Woods, mother of two boys and a girl has been stabbed to death 15 times along with her husband, Peter Woods. Prime and most likely suspect happens to be, Margaret's son, Jeffery Woods who got burned alive before losing his sanity. The one who made the police call happens to be the girl. The now adopted Cynthia Woods. She used her brother's phone (Liu's cellphone) and made it out alive. Unfortunately, Liu had to be taken to the hospital after being sliced severely by Jeffery. Crime investigators investigated the bodies and saw the most odd marking on both the husband and wife. A circle with an 'X' crossed through. Not many people have known what its meaning is but some say it's linked to the mysterious disappearances and the woods. The Slender Woods.

I placed the essay back in the file and began checking the photos of the murder. Each photo marking something such as stabs or evidence or even hand or finger prints. "This is making me sick." I mumbled. What is even worse I feel no remorse. I am not sad, just disgusted. What is wrong with me? I am probably just tired. Yeah, that is probably it. Ignoring the subject, I began thinking about the funerals. "We should have the funerals next Monday. I'll miss the day to get things ready. I'll use the money Mom and Dad left me for college and the money in the bank. I want them buried under the willow tree by the path, away from everyone else and I want Jane by the pond and swing." My voice sounded monotone, robotic. I hated it. It made me sound like I hated my parents. I scowled to myself and lowered my head in anger. Yes I change moods very quickly. "Done." Roy said. "Money goes to either me or Liu, not Jeff. I don't want him anywhere near our lives anymore... The two agents nodded and I left the room. Before I left, I gave them a quizzical emotion. "One more thing. Make sure Essay Boy fixes his reports. They're all over the place, especially Mom's." I left after that. I walked through the halls and found my guitar leaning on a wall. I grabbed it and decided to head to the back porch.
