William dragged Aiden over to the stairs, the voices that had once been there had disappeared, leaving himself Aiden, and another person, who wouldn't talk, alone in the room. After he had given his name, Aiden then blacked out, most likely exhausted by everything he had gone through.
"So, what's your name?" He asked again for the fifth time. The person just followed Aiden, walking closely behind while William dragged him along the floor. "Would you mind helping me? I need to carry him to the top of the platform." He walked over and lifted Aiden in both arms, carrying him to the top then placing him on a table. Wow, he sure is strong. Now I need to get Aiden awake, who knows if the Galkara are on their way here. William searched the drawers under the table, finding nothing he began to search the backpack Aiden had worn.
"Hmm, nothing but food." He took a packet of food and began to eat its contents of bread and meat. "Wow! this is so much better than what they gave me." He smiled to himself, finally able to eat a decent meal, not stale bread and tough meat like every other day. He finished most of what the package contained then placed it back inside the backpack. He turned to look at Aiden who was still knocked out. "Maybe if I slap him he'll wake up." Walking over he raised his hand above Aiden's face, then quickly bringing it down. An echo sounded throughout the room as his hand made contact. Nothing. Instead, the silent person, stumbled backwards, falling off the side of the platform. A thud was heard. William ran over to the side, peering over.
Darkness filled his mind, the light he once bore had now faded, only leaving behind a small glimpse of hazy blue, dark blue. "What's going on here? Why can't I open my eyes?" The blue light began to grow, unleashing a bright wave of cascading light. "Do not worry, for I have chosen you, your wounds you have taken are now being healed, have patience." Aiden frowned. "What about my clone, can't I mind jump back to him?" At that moment, a stinging sensation came over his face, nausea rushed over him like a wave that departed as soon as it had come. Red and green colors flowed like ribbon, dancing in his head. Then, light came from beyond the darkness, he reached out grasping a beam of golden ray. He opened his eyes, the floor appeared to be coming towards him at a very fast pace. At the last second, he moved his feet under him, when he hit the floor he rolled off to the side, minimizing the force of falling. Suddenly feeling sick, he threw-up in front of a killed assassin. He wiped his mouth.
"Are you okay!?" Aiden looked above at the platform, William was shouting down to him. "I'm fine William." William nodded, then ran down the steps and over to Aiden. "You talked! Finally, someone to talk to. So, what's your name? You see it's..."
"William!" Aiden cut him off, not wanting to hear an hour long story of what had happened. "Its me Aiden. Didn't I tell you my name? Before I blacked out I'm sure I told you." A confused look washed across Williams face, he raised an eyebrow. "Aiden? Your not Aiden, he's up on the platform resting. But you do look just like him. Are you two twins? I've been trying to talk to you ever since he was knocked out." Aiden looked down at his hands, he was wearing the gloves his clone wore. What!? He closed his eyes, trying to focus on the colors, nothing. "This may be hard for you to understand, but I am actually Aiden, just not in the right body, I was cloned by the Galkara and somehow I'm able to access my clones brain.
"What!? how is that even possible?" Aiden chuckled to himself. "Personally, I don't really know myself. Take me to my body and I'll show you how I do it." William nodded then ran off towards the stairs. When will I be able to mind jump again? Aiden asked the old man. Somehow, he could still talk to him through his mind. "Patience, you will soon, very soon, your body is still recovering." What about my clone, didn't it get more damage than I did? "Yes, it did. But once it fell, I started to heal it, thus, it is now healed fully." Who are you? The voice laughed. "You will see soon enough." Aiden walked up the stairs. William was waiting at the top, his body language showed he was eager to see how Aiden mind jumped.
