Chap 6
He had ash white hair tall icy blue eyes with an orange tint white jacket with denim jeans and long collar and big cuffs blue shirt with blue and black sneakers. With him there was a girl too. About my height, a little taller than me. Having a ponytail, dark heavy eyeliner reddish brown gloss matching her eye color she was all in black wearing long boots very short shorts strapless shirt and a cloak over it.
“I am sorry I shouldn’t be here.”I was shivering can’t say of cold or of fear.
“Yes we know but now you are here so...” the girl said
“I am extremely cold I have to go back.” I tried to leave but the guy blocked my way.
“Believe me you are very warm. Do you want to know how it feels being cold?” With a smirk he said.
I knew what he meant so I backed off a little.
“Hey we didn’t ask you to be in a vampire city all alone being a human. How did you escape?” the girl said she seemed a little friendly.
“Escape? Ohh no I am not one of the slaves.” I said.
“Oh I can see that you wear well.” She replied.
“Then introduce yourself!” The guy demanded.
“I am aaa… my name is Eve. And I, I am with Vincent. I am his…” I didn’t want to say I am someone’s pet it doesn’t sound appropriate, then again may be in their world it does.
“You mean to say pet.” he completed my sentence.
“So you are the one he’s been talking about.” Suddenly the girl had a smile on her face.
“Excuse me?” I was confused with her expression.
“There you are. Hey Daniel what are you doing here.” Vincent called out.
“Hey Vincent.” The girl greeted Vincent with a hug. Somehow that didn’t make me feel any better. The worst thing was Vincent hugged her back.
“Hi Faith. Guess you guys met her already?” Vincent said
They both nodded. Then Vincent turned to me.
“Why the hell you left the palace?” Vincent asked angrily
He is definitely going to kill me now. I thought.
“Why should I tell you?” I replied.
“Why do you have to ask a stupid question over my question?” he said irritated with my behavior.
“Why don’t you leave me alone? Why do you even bother to ask any question? I mean it’s my life I can go wherever I want to.” He is so annoying. Why can’t he just answer my questions?
“What is your problem? You are always having these damn mood swings. One minute you’re happy and friendly and the other minute I have to deal with this!” he said waving his hand in the air.
“My problem yeah right you show as much attitude as you desire and then all of the sudden it’s my problem. Huh.” She folded her arms at her chest.
Daniel and Faith kept passing glances but then Daniel gave up and said,
“Guys seriously chill out you’re going to gimme a headache now.” with his one hand on his head.
“What’s the issue any way?” Faith asked
“Ask her. She tried to run away.” Vincent said angrily looking away.
“Because you were acting like a stubborn jackass.” I said, accusingly pointing at Vincent.
“What? You just didn’t call me a..” Vincent was breathless ahh and I thought it might be fun to have someone challenging.
“Stubborn jackass! That’s what you are?”
“Well em pretty entertained by this stupid fight.” Daniel chuckled.
“Dude you both are acting like a bunch of kiddos.” Faith was standing with her hands on her waist.
“Guess what I have an idea! Let’s go to the palace where we can eat something and you guys can fight as much as you can in your room. I am starving man.”Daniel suggested and complained at the same time.
“Me too, so shall we go? Woods are never safe to hang out.” Faith started to walk.
“Yeah let’s just go.” Vincent growled with his head hung low and started walking too he didn’t even looked at me or asked me to come along, which pissed me off so I kept standing there.
