Eve’s P.O.V
Next morning I woke up took a shower got dressed and went downstairs to have some breakfast. Albert greeted me I smiled and replied him.
“So what would you like to have this morning madam?” Albert asked.
“Pancake and milk.” I told him.
“Excellent choice madam.” He claimed.
As Albert got busy in making my breakfast Faith and Daniel came in.
“Hey good morning.” Faith and Daniel entered the kitchen.
“Hi how are you guys?” I asked them.
“Oh we are great.” Faith said with a smile
“Its just I couldn’t have much sleep last night.” Daniel complaint innocently.
“Why?” I got concerned.
“Oh Faith wanted to watch some scary movies and she didn’t want herself to be alone.” He said teasing Faith with a sarcastic look on his face.
“Hey you can’t even give me your one night sleep?” Faith pouted
“You know that’s not true.” He winked at her and I started feeling as if I am the crowd between two love birds.
And before Faith could say any more I interrupted them,
“Hey anyone for pancakes?”
“Yeah sure but I will have my drink first.” Daniel said
“Hey bring one for me too.” Faith raised her hand.
“Me three.”
I looked behind me Vincent was standing there. I have to admit the moment I saw him I felt happiness rising in me. It is so strange, I adore his presence.
“Where have you been?” Faith asked.
“I had some work to take care of.” Vincent said calmly
“Is everything cool?” Daniel peeked out from the refrigerator’s door.
“Yeah but I think it’s about time they are almost prepared.” Vincent replied looking towards Daniel.
I had no clue what they were talking about and I was feeling a little left out so I just decided to have my breakfast and go into my room to have my own company I guess.
“Are you sure? Cause we all know Jeremiah and his wicked plots. What we don’t know is his real strength.” Daniel said as if trying to remind Vincent about some guy.
That’s it I gave up I can’t control my curiosity now.
“What are you guys discussing?”
“They are talking about our uncle. We are almost ready to take our revenge. I think we should test our army and if they are up to the mark the war is on.” Faith explained it to me.
“That’s the problem! Up to which mark we don’t know how much capable Jeremiah’s army is.” Daniel pointed out.
“Why don’t you guys spy on him?” I suggested them
Everyone looked at me at once.
“Excuse me?” Daniel raised his eyebrow
“This is no child’s play. Stay out of it.” Vincent growled angrily.
“Come on you can appoint a spy it will help you a lot seriously that guy will take notice of every single step of your uncle and he will let you know how much powerful he is.” I tried to support my point, no way i am going to listen to him, like thats ever gonna happen.
“Actually Eve has a point.” Faith declared
“Forget it what she is talking about needs a lot of time. To keep an eye on every single step of Jeremiah, who will do that for us because for that we will need some one who is close to Jeremiah. And what makes you guys think he will trust just any one.” Vincent said.
“Of course not anyone; but if Jeremiah most trusted guy starts working for you?” I again tried to share in the conversation.
“Jeremiah’s closest person will be Randolph. But that’s too risky. Suppose we talk him out but if he betrays us it will be the worst thing to happen.” Daniel explained. I realized he was too taking my suggestions positively, to some extent.
“Hey we want his army to be weakened why don’t we make Hadrian our target after all he commands the army.” Faith asked looking at Vincent then at Daniel.
“No Vincent is right it’s too risky.” Daniel finally showed on whose side he is.
“Why don’t we finish our breakfast and then talk about the whole thing.” Vincent suggested.
