Eve’s P.O.V
As Faith and Daniel left us I started feeling a little awkward but I had to make an apology.
“I … I am sorry I shouldn’t have said what I did before. But you should have talked to me instead of showing attitude.” I tried to control my anger as best as I could.
“I know I am sorry too.” He ran his hand through his hair.
“Hmm it’s ok.” I said
“So do you want to know anything?” he asked
“Well Faith did tell me a lot of things about you but what I don’t know is why they are here? And are you going to turn me into a vampire? And why exactly you brought me here? And ….”
“Okay, okay I will answer your questions but do you want to stand here only? I mean we could be somewhere more comfortable.”
“Like where?” I asked
“I don’t know in the garden or in your room?” Vincent suggested
“Its kind of chilly I don’t want to go outside again.” I didn’t really want to go outside after being almost frozen.
“Then your room it is.”
We went to my room. He quickly sat on the bed and I kept standing. He asked me to sit down and I felt stupid because this was the second time he asked me in my own room to sit.
“So ask but one by one please.” He kind of pleaded.
“Hmm about Faith and Daniel?”
Vincent’s P.O.V
“Daniel and Faith had been in a relation for many years they are the only family I am allowed to live with every once in a while. Faith’s parents were killed in the war she must have told you about it?” she nodded in yes so I continued on.
“She started living with Daniel’s parents who were my father’s closest friends and Faith is my first cousin almost like a sister to me her mother was my father’s sister. As I told you it was my birthday yesterday but Daniel had some work to be done that’s why they are a day late.” After finishing I waited for her to ask the second question.
“And snowball is?”
“Snowball is Faith’s pet cat. And why Faith calls her snowball you will know after you see her.”
“Cute! I love cats. Have you brought me here to turn me into a vampire? Why exactly you brought me?”
“No I won’t turn you into a vampire until you want me to. And I really don’t have an answer of your last question. I brought you because I feel like. Please don’t fight over it. I am sorry to say it but what is done is done.”
“Hmm okay.” She said thoughtfully. At least she wasn’t questioning it anymore.
“So wanna come down stairs?” I asked her.
“No I don’t think so. I wanna stay in my room, I guess em little tired.” She stood up and went to her washroom. After a minute she came outside. Water dripping from her forehead to her cheek.
“You still here?” she asked.
“You want me to leave?” I asked as I felt hurt.
“Yeah I guess so. It is my room right? Not ours.” She replied.
“Okay I will leave you only if you promise you won’t cry.” I told her my condition.
“Hmm I don’t even feel like crying anymore I just want to sleep.”
“Okay then will leave you.”
“Bye.”
She closed the door and I went downstairs Faith and Daniel were having their drinks so I decided to join them.
“Hey how’s she now?” Faith asked playing with her cat
“She’s a lot better. Thanks.” I replied
“No problem she seems a nice girl. Definitely a nice choice.” Faith complimented looking towards me and snowball just got the advantage of her distraction and snatched the yoyo from Faith’s hand by which Faith had been teasing her.
“Come have a drink it must be hard to stand her. Sorry but she has a great smell. She is just too irresistible.” Daniel said on which Faith punched him not too hard.
“Hey back off man she is mine.” I said feeling possessive
“Ahh so you confessed you like her.” Faith cheered
“Any stupid will not like her. She is pretty and irresistible, pretty irresistible.” Daniel said, this time Faith started glaring him and Daniel put his hands in front as if protecting himself and surrendering.
“But seriously man you should drink some extra blood before going to her.” This time Daniel had a serious expression on his face and Faith nodded.
“When she hugged me it was so hard for me to stop myself from biting her.” Faith confessed feeling embarrassed.
“Don’t worry for her protection I have something saved for her.” After having my drink I went back to Eve’s room just to check on her. I first hesitated but then opened her bedroom’s door. I saw her sleeping I guess all that crying made her exhausted. So I went to my room to have some sleep too.
