I walk through the dark, head down as my feet lead me aimlessly. I look up through my eye lashes. The horrible thing about this place is that there's devils and pour, lost souls.

Rose must be one. I notice a boat, floating a nothing, over a deep fall to the center of the earth. I stare down and whistle.

"Look at that!" I whisper in a frightened awe. "The devil must love this!"

"He most certainly does," A male voice cracks as I look at him. He follows my stare and looks under his boat, leaning over slightly. "But not as much as what's ahead."

"Can you take me?" I ask as I fold my arms.

"Depends on where. This boat takes many people many places," His raspy voice said factly. "Either hell, or the hell on earth..."

"What?" I say confused. "Hell on earth?"

"Correct, young lady," He nods slightly and quickly. "I can take you back to earth, but you'll be a ghost."

"I think I'll take that option," I say cautiously. "How much?"

"20₱," He holds his dusty, pasty, pale hand out. "Nothing more or less. Thank you."

"So blunt," I mumble with a chuckle as I hand him the money. "Hurry please. I have to find someone."

"We'll get there when we get there, miss." He said sternly as he rowed the boat on the now visible mist that formed a river.

Faint shouts and screams filled my ears and I look down to see a bottomless pit of fire that screamed many voices at once. I grip the side of the boat as I look behind myself then staring a head.

"The river of lost dreams," He mumbled to himself. "And lost things..."

I nod as he continues to slowly and calmly paddle. I reach and try to grab an old, golden watch, but cowards back as I almost fall.

I swallow hard and close my eyes, "How much longer."

"We get there when we do," He said loudly and sternly. "I already told you this, Miss."

I know you did, damn it, but I want a real answer....

---

Hours upon hours had passed before the tiny boat stops. I look to see a multi colored cave and I sigh.

"The city of angels," He states as I step out. "And you'll see why soon. Good luck miss."

"Thanks," I say and walk to the wall as he paddles off. I place my hand on the cristal wall and see my hand go through. "Aha..." I go through, eyes squeezed shut, while holding my breath.

I stand there after awhile of walking, eyes still closed. I stand there and move my hand.

"Who are you?" I open my eyes and look around to see Im on a moutain. I look to see a man in a white suit with large white wings. "Are you going to answer?"

"Fay..." I whisper to him. I couldn't let him know my name. His sea green eyes observed me for a bit before huffing.

"Im Shane," He nods. "You aren't an angel?" I shake my head.

"No." I state quietly.

"Well," He shrugs and looks around. "I guess you can stay. You're probably a lost soul. Welcome to the other side..."
