Chapter Eighteen: Promise

Harrys P.O.V

I look up as I here the cage doors open, hearing a loud plop as something heavy hits the ground. I quickly crawl to it, thinking it was food. I stop and cautiously poke the body infront of me. I lick my chapped lips and flip it so its facing me.

"Lou," I gasp and tap his cheek. He groans and coughs, his eyes still shut. "Louis..."

"W-What?" He opens his eyes and looks around. He seemed genuinely confused but soon sat up and clings to me as I did to him. "Harry!"

"Oh, God, I missed you!" I cry into his shoulder. Missing someone who hasnt changed for the worse.

We cry for a few, embracing eachother.

"I-Ive been so, so," He chokes and I wipe his tears as he wipes mine. "Ha-Hazz..."

"I know Lou," I mumble and sniff. "We can make it. We cant give up."

"Where's Zayn? Liam? Niall?" He looks around frantically before standing.

"Zayn," I swallow. "Lou, Zayn is the one doing this. I dont know where the others are."

"No, no," He coughs and looks up at the wooden ceiling above us. It was the first floor. "Zayn is... No."

"Im sorry." I mumble and stand, ignoring the ignited pain in my body.

"He would never hurt us."

"I dont think its him," I whisper. "We're in the after life. I think that... thing is still in him."

"Course." He mumbles and sighs. He wonders around as I watch him. "Of fuckig course."

"Hey," He punches a wall and I wrap my arms around him. "Hey. Hey its okay. We have eachother."

"We need the others. You know that!" He lays into me and cries.

"Its going to be fine. I promise," I wipe his tears as he looks at me. "I promise."
