Chapter Twenty: The Beast (Pt. 1)

No POV

"Where's Hailie?" Harry asks as the four boys walk down the halls. Louis pats his back as Niall leads the way.

"She's went to look for Zayn." Liam answers as he checks each room they pass.

"Zayns the king-"

"She knows," Niall rolls his eyes as he stops and looks around the large, main room they've entered. "And she doesnt care. She wants us home, and she's taking us home."

"What if Zayn cant be fixed?" Harry asks as Liam walks out of a closet and hands him and Lou a shirt. The two put it on and sigh at the warmth.

"Then she kills him." Niall answers bluntly.

"KILL HIM-"

"Not ZAYN!' He cuts off a shocked Louis. "I mean, Zayn has to die in the process. But her main goal is to kill the spirit inside of him."

"I hope those are the facts," Louis grumbles. He was still salty about his family's murder, not knowing who had done it, and his heart couldnt take another love one dying. Harry knew this, but he didnt have the heart to tell him the truth. To tell him that his lover, the mother of his baby, was the killer- The one who inflicted all that pain on him. It was causing so much guilt, but he couldnt do it.

"It is Louis." Liam says to him softly, patting his back as Louis lays into him for comfort. "It is..."

"YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE THEM!?" A shout from high above is heard and the four huddle together, defensive, as they search about. Harrys head snaps to where a familiar cry of pain is heard.

"HAILIE!!" He screams and hurrys to where his girl fell. He kneels down and craddles her as she whimpers. "W-Who..."

His blood boils as he clenches his fists. He can handle abuse, as long as he has hope of being with the girl he was holding and his baby, but he cant handle abuse towards her- Towards his vampress.

"Harry..." Her voice was rough and her hands were shaking as she coughed.

"Ah," The curly haired boy turned to the king and stood as Niall took Hailie. "She shouldnt have come."

"You touched her," He growls as his chest heaves and his muscles flex. "You hit her?"

"That's right," Zayn growls and walks closer to him. "Release it, Harold. Do it. Show that beast you locked away for years."

"W-What?" Hailie whimpers confused.

"He knows," Zayn says witha knowing smirk as Harry bows his head and tries to control himself. "Why do you think you were so compelled to him? He's not all angel."

"H-Harry," Hailie says and reaches for him but Louis holds her back. "Harry."

"He's a fallen angel," Hailies eyes widen at Zayns words. "See, God rejected him due to the sin he did when he was a toddler. As you know, he was chosen to be sacrificed to your village for the war. We all were, but- due to Harrys sin- he was no longer a holly angel. We were chosen because we were to stay holly our whole lives until the time came. But bad, young, Harold broke everything. He's a dark angel."

"Shut up," Harry clenched his eyes and grinded his teeth as he felt the skin his back spliting. "You know nothing-"

"Oh, but I do." Zayn growled back, letting his wings fly out. "When your father, Hailie, found out, he was furious. So, to make sure Harry wouldnt do anymore sins- and take us all out of being sacrifices- he erased all our memories of what happened. Gave us a regular life to live. However, your mother saw how much we meant to you, especially Harry. So, she altered our futures so we would meet again. What she didnt know, was that this would happen."

"You arent Zayn," Harry growls and falls to his knees at the pain coursing through him. "You arent!"

"Let it out," Zayn growls. "Show her what she's been missing..."

Thats when a monsterious scream leaves Harrys lips and his green orbs turn a bright, sunny gold. His bank curves as large, midnight black wings spill out. His K9 teeth become shap and his once weak body from starvation turns muscular and large. He stands and stares at Zayn, his target, as he sees all red. A large scar forms over his right eye as he stalks over to his enemy.

"You want to play," Harry growls and cracks his neck. "Fine, lets fucking play."
