Carter's POV It was my first night in Gryffindor and lets just say that the other girls weren't exactly nice to me. I caught them all glaring at me even hermione. I knew she would have the most problem with me considering Draco calls her a mudblood. I yell at him after he does most of the time but he just does it again. I sat on the bed that was next to hermione's and unpacked all my stuff. soon enough night comes and so do the nightmares.
I'm standing next to Harry, were pointing our wands at Draco and other people who I don't know.
"You don't have to do this!" I yell at him, tears starting to fill my eyes.
"I'm sorry Carter, you don't understand. I have to do this. I have to be with them. I have to serve him. I have to live up to my fathers exceptions, it's in my blood" he says pointing his wand at us
"It's not in your blood, it's in your HEAD!" I yell the last part. "Your gonna let your fathers expectations drag you under! You don't have to be who he wants you to be Draco! You have a choice, it's your life! Not his!" I yell Draco slowly puts down his wand
"I have to be a death eater Carter, I'm sorry" he says raising his wand again
"Do it Draco! Say the spell!" One of The girl's hisses.
His hands shakes and he looks like he's about to cry. He shaking all over and he's starting to Mumble.
"Do it Draco! Or I will" the same girls hisses again "prove to him your worthy enough to be a death eater!"
"I-I'm S-Sorry Carter, I-I'm so S-Sorry" he stutters "crucio!" He yells and the red Line hits my body.
I let out a scream and fall to the ground. The pain is unbearable, soul consuming. The pain was so intense as if tiny knifes were piercing every inch of my body. It was as if My body was on fire. I was shaking with pain. It didn't subside it just got worse. I let out another scream worse than the last. Harry ran to my side, he yells my name and looks at Draco.
"Your nothing but a pathetic excuse for a human being. She trusted you! And look what you've done! You betrayed her! Even I didn't think you could stoop that low!" Harry yells
I could hear Draco mumbling and he sounds as if he's about to cry at what he's done.
In a flash of white light, were in the astronomy tower. The pain is gone but now I'm left with the pain in my heart of my best friend betraying me. I let out screams and crys of heartbreak. Harry wraps his Arms around my waist and I fall to my knees screaming and crying. (A/N kinda like Harry does in this picture)
