Carter's POV
I slowly open my eyes and groan. Harry is sitting next to me asleep. I laugh as he is snoring. He jolts awake. I can barely keep my eyes open. I feel weak.
"Harry?" I ask him
"Carter! Your awake!" He yells
"How long has it been?" I ask
"A week miss reed" Dumbledore says coming into the hospital wing with Draco....and his dad?!
I wanna hug Draco but seeing he's with his father I won't. Draco always aims to please his father.
"Hello professor, Mr.Malfoy, Draco" I say "why are you here?" I ask Dumbledore. Harry stays by my side.
"We're here to discuss Draco's situation" Dumbledore says
"What do you mean?" I ask worried
"Well since Draco here hit you with a spell, one of the unforgivable curses, action has to be taken"
"Ok" I look at Draco who won't look me in the eyes. I can tell by the way his dad grips his shoulder he's already been punished for it.
"The options are if Miss Reed wants Draco kicked out-"
"No!" I yell. after a few minutes I realize my mistake "sorry headmaster but I don't want Draco kicked out. He's my best friend"
"It's quite alright miss Reed" he says smiling
"It was an accident" Draco says quietly
"Shush Draco!" His father yells.
Draco shakes when his father talks. He's done something to him. I can see the pain in Draco's eyes.
"Now now Lucius, may I talk to you in private please?" Dumbledore asks
"Yes you may" he says letting go of Draco and walking out
Draco just stares at the floor for a second then starts to leave
"Malfoy? Where are you going?" I ask him
"Back to the Slytherin house" he says quietly
I notice he's walking weirdly.
"Malfoy -"
"What!" He snaps at me then he winces
"Sorry. I gotta go" he says walking out.
"Somethings wrong with him. His dad's done something to him" I say balling my fist
"Carter you have to stay calm or your gonna-"
Intense pain causes me to help out in pain. I clench my eyes shut and grip the sides of the bed. It hurts. Alot.
"Easy. You have to stay calm" Harry says "the spell will disappear In a few days but pain will still hit you in spurts until it disappears"
"I don't care. I'm worried about him, Come on" I say getting up
"Where are you going?" He asks
