Neal and Peter are undercovered in a very dangerous mission, you're worried about your brother eventhough you know he'll be fine. Meanwhile in the mission the two men are sat over a sofa waiting for the criminal they're looking for. When he arrives they ask him for the venom he is selling so they can get evidence and the venom.
You're listening to everything trough the mic they have on their jackets. Neal takes his character seriously and accepts a cigarette, they leave them alone while the guy brings the venom. Peter doesn't know about you hearing them, he exchange words with Neal
-Thanks god I didn't forgot to buy the present for my sister, if I did I know El would have kill me- Neal laughs and takes a sip from his cigarre,
-Wait, you're talking about Y/N? Men I have to admit it, she's hot- you blush while listening to this
-Hey, hold your horses! Yeah she might be hot but she's my sister, so have a little respect, would you?- you smile
-OK ''Mr. Overprotection''- Neal jokes, Peter's breath gets thicker, Neal takes another sip from the cigarre and your brother starts laughing at the silly nick-name. Neal joins the laughter and adds something beautiful in between:
-Well, forgive me, she's a very nice woman, you're lucky that she speaks to you- Peter keeps the lip-closed smile
-Thanks Neal, but you know she doesn't speak to you because she likes you, right?- you blush and a thirst for future revenge comes to your body
-Really?- Peter nods
-Yeah but don't you dare tell her that this came from me. Remember, I tell you this for you to stay away from her, I don't want you to hurt her. Y/N and El are my everything and I can't imagine life without them- your revenge thirst goes back to the bottom of your heart, warms it and you smile. Neal's a little hurt about the comment but he will get over it, what he won't get over is you. This makes you blush because you know it's true, he was really good at hiding his feelings.
Once the venom is delivered to them, SWAT team comes in and takes the criminal into custody, while Peter carefully gives the venom to the toxic substances team. After these, you enter the room an hug Peter
-Thanks God you're safe- you sob, then wave at Neal with a kind smile, producing him one of his own. The hugging stops and Peter goes to Diana,
-Good job Mr. Overprotection- she covers her mouth to laugh and walks away while Peter's jaw hits the floor. You ask Neal for a word,
-Hey, don't be sad about my brother's advice, he's just worried, but I can take care of myself. So... Maybe sometime we can go out or something?- he smiles
-I'll like that- he answers
-So will I, but, never call me hot in front of my brother again- the two of you laugh a bit
-I swear I won't- you smile, kiss his cheek playfully and walk away to Diana with a naughty wink.
