After a long day spent in the darkness down below with nothing changing Benjamin is questioning everything to happen in the months he's been here. Wondering where he went wrong in life. Thinking who he might have betrayed and wronged to end up here. What would make him begin to form a relationship with someone as sick as Piercen because he has to be sick too to fall in like or love with a man as horrible as him.

Someone so deranged there is no excuse to give for what he has done. No reasonable explanation for taking innocent lives too young. There are no words to say to make the deaths acceptable in the act of trying to find love. Piercen is a horrible person Benjamin cannot gather the words to why he given in as he has.

He cannot think of an answer to reassure himself for the better or worse in his mental state. He is utterly confused for a better use of words to say the least. There is surely no way he can still be sane in the constant darkness of underneath the house the furthest away from the light he can be.

He is suffocating in the darkness of this hell he is losing his mind in. He feels insane himself to see Pierce as something else than the murderer he is. He has to be insane. He can't be sane can he?

Piercen is a killer having done this more than once. He has locked up one after the next trying to find someone to love him. Searching and ending lives when the passion is not there. Killing for years until...he came along.

'Why me? Why do I feel something for him? What's wrong with me? Is there something wrong with me?' Benjamin asks within himself as he does every night Piercen leaves.

Weeks are passing him by and there seems to be no hope of ever leaving here. Never forgetting the fact he knows in the back of his mind no one is looking for him. His chances to be found are nonexistent. He knows it is not going to happen and he should just finally forget his old redundant life he hated to allow himself to experience this not so dreaded life he has seen it in the beginning.

'I was never happy with her. I hated her most days she cut me down. She disregarded me like a piece of trash. She used my past against me and my weaknesses. She hated me I don't know why I ever loved her. I don't know why anyone of them mattered to me. My family didn't care. None of them did. They still don't but he does.' Helen and his family resurfaces in his mind like always but this time he is seeing her and his old life in Piercen's perspective.

He is starting to realize before walking into this house and becoming Piercen's love interest life was meaningless. He was living for nothing. he had nothing wanting an escape out of his depressing hole he dug himself into. He was sinking in his sorrow. He was drowning in life until Piercen trapped him in the darkness he can never leave.

He thought he was done. He thought he wanted death more than ever before. He thought this was the end he had been waiting for and would gladly embrace but slowly it turned into something else. Slowly thoughts of death and his faded hope of leaving dissipated and a spark grew inside him to replace what was gone.

With their bodies pressed together, in the heat of the moment, everything feels right. A fire of passion erupts in Benjamin. Feelings coursing through he never imagined feeling for another man. He never anticipated such strong thoughts and desires like a plague to consume every part of his body. Every touch with sweet nothings whispered into his ear he is enjoying the attention more he continues to get every day from Piercen he isn't resisting.

Love and acceptance envelops him. No judgment at all. He takes pleasure in their shared intimate love they have shared over and over. And as disturbing as it may be Benjamin considers the obvious, he is falling in love.

He has found himself for the first time in years of being lost. He is discovering who he really is and who he was suppose to be. He was never happy before. He was never okay until now.

Piercen finds himself up in the middle of the night on a late night drive into town. Driving to nowhere in particular with silence filling the car besides his thoughts. Passing few cars as he tries to clear his head another sleepless night during this week.

He cannot sleep. He cannot think except for one thing. One thing that lingers in his mind and will not go away. One thing he had thought would go away. One thing he believed he would not need with the one he loved when he has no purpose but surely he was wrong.

Of course he was wrong. He has always been wrong when had it not been his parent's deaths he caused to lead him to the next kill, the next fix of his?

He liked the feeling. He liked the control. He wanted to feel that fire burning inside him to keep on burning red inside his demented soul. He loved the way it felt. He loved the feeling of knowing he caused it. He loves the feeling he gets during every scream. He loves the blood dripping out of their helpless bodies as they breath their last breathe. He loves all of it as pleasure overwhelms him.

The sight of everything gets him going and makes his life more meaningful. He cannot go long without his next victim to curb his appetite. He cannot go any longer without feeding the hunger growing inside that never goes away. It never fades. It never subsides but only grows more.

'Wouldn't this be the perfect opportunity to see if he really loves me? Isn't this the best time to see if we are meant to be if he will do this with me? Share something in common with me then just a conversation? More than just love, something overpowering? Something accelerating?' he wonders.

He needs this. He wants this just as much as he wants Benjamin. He wants the love they share to last forever. He also wants to move what they have out of the darkness and up to the main level of the house. He wants to know Benjamin is giving him his whole heart and never going to leave him. He wants to make sure this is real. He wants to have their lives to interconnect. He wants to share something they can both enjoy and that's murder in Piercen's mind.

*****

Benjamin is laying down almost asleep when Piercen barges in like a mad man in the dark waking him up out of his sleep. Benjamin's head in a fog state as he opens his eyes waiting for them to adjust in the dark with no light as Piercen's footsteps stop in front of him. "What's-" he's cut off attempting to sit up as Piercen kneels down smashing into his lips.

Benjamin notices immediately Piercen is breathing heavy as he pulls away from the kiss and it isn't the kiss to have Piercen's heart beating this fast. It can't be. It has to be something else but before Benjamin can say a word in complete surprise and bewilderment Piercen is telling him, "I have a surprise for you and if you love me you will know what to do. You won't resist and love it just as much as I do." he says placing a knife Benjamin had not seen until now into his hand.

'This can't be good.' Benjamin thinks as Piercen takes off in a hurry up the steps.
