Benjamin is unchained covered in blood that doesn't belong to himself as he follows Piercen up the steps in the dark. Walking up out of the closet as Piercen lends a hand once at the top to help him out of the darkness and into the lighted bedroom as the daylight pours in.
It's been a while since he has seen the sunlight or the upstairs of the house and not the darkness he has been swallowed by. Yet despite the temptations he should be feeling and the need to escape as he wanted months ago he doesn't bail. He doesn't run and escape Piercen who isn't holding him back from bolting out of the room and up the stairs then out the front door. He isn't running for freedom through the wooded area and screaming for help. He isn't attempting with everything in him to get away, be free from an insane man who has held him trapped for months because he doesn't want to.
He feels no need to leave and he can't possibly leave after what he has done tonight or is it last night? He doesn't know but what he does know as he walks out of the room and into the bathroom behind Piercen is he's not sane anymore. He definitely isn't the same man he was the night before after taking someone's life and he doesn't feel sorry.
He feels nothing inside after he gave in to Piercen's sickening desires. He felt the same high after the intial scared terrified feeling he had in the beginning like any normal person faded away. He wasn't scared anymore. He wasn't afraid of being something else. He wasn't scared of doing something he never imagined he would do or become. He wasn't bothered when each stab and trickle of blood to rush out he caused when he was picturing was someone who hurt him. He pictured the weak victim Piercen found as Helen. He pictured his family. He pictured everyone who ever called him out and told him he would never amount to anything. He turned into a monster enjoying the sick dark feelings overwhelming him as a whole just like Piercen.
Maybe he wasn't born to kill. Maybe he wasn't always wanting to seek someone out and end their life before but as the months went by Benjamin's thoughts have become corrupted. He's began to fall in like or love with a killer. He has lost all sanity and all he wanted was to do as he was told.
He swallowed the fear of killing and fell in love with death. He didn't stop. He didn't want to stop after he allowed the darkness to enter in coming to terms this is his new life. He is going to stay here forever. He is a changed person. He is a different person around Piercen that has courage and strength he never had before. He isn't the scum his family made him out to be. He's just not the same man anymore becoming someone else entirely that has had his first taste of what it is to be in complete control over someone else and be on top of the world.
They end up in the bathroom right between the two bedrooms on the bottom floor clothes being stripped off and tossed onto the white tile floor. Dark blue walls surround them as Piercen inches closer to Benjamin as he pushes him against the sink. Pressing close to him and whispering in his ear Benjamin can barely hear, "I love you."
Benjamin is intoxicated with this love he is more than willing to embrace and the darkness he can never exit out of. "I love you too." he replies with a kiss to follow as they become lost in this moment of love neither of them thought they would ever feel.

Piercen walks into the grocery store late in the afternoon after a wild night he finally got to indulge in something he hasn't done in a while. Well three months to be precise but three months is a long time. Long enough to make him want to take another life to feel some sort of excitement and put Benjamin to the test.
Benjamin passed with flying colors. He did better then Piercen thought he would when for a few minutes he froze up unable to move but it didn't take long for Piercen to watch something snap Benjamin back into the present. Something to get him to become something else in a flash that surely got Piercen going.
He was turned on. He was in love more than he originally thought he was or could be. He knew he found the one person, one man to make his life complete. They both share feelings for each other and not just that but the sick intentions to kill another living being. What more can Piercen ask for in his perfect match?
'Nothing.' he thinks to himself wandering down an aisle to pick something up to eat for the both of them. 'And she said I shouldn't push him into a relationship to fast? She couldn't be more wrong pushing into this, making him kill for the first time was well worth it. It was the right thing to know he's everything I can want and need. He just needed a push. He needed me to guide him to see we belong together.'
"Piercen?" the ever familiar annoying woman's voice calls him.
'What now? Why does she have to ruin my mood every single time I'm having a good day?' he wonders to himself turning around to see none other than Mrs. Summers standing right before him in the only grocery store in this small town. 'Perhaps I should move Benjamin and I somewhere far away? Leave this God awful town once and for all?'
"Mrs. Summers, it's nice to see you." he fakes the same smile he usually does to her and everyone else in public.
"How are you it's been a while since we chatted away last?" she states as if he can forget. There was a reason they haven't seen each other and it was because he was doing everything to avoid her.
"Same as always." he smiles.
"Oh? Nothing different or new in life?" she goes on prying into his life.
"Not as of right now." he replies wishing she would stay out of his life for once.
She laughs, "Me either but I'm older than you. I have grandkids to spend my days with but you should be out there starting a family of your own."
"I'm fine with my life as it is." he says again though it doesn't seem to be getting through to her.
"You say that now but just wait."
'I don't have to wait anymore when I have Benjamin but there is no way in hell I'm telling you that. I can hear it now spread across town from the moment I walk out and I prefer a quiet life not everything out in the open to risk everything I have.'
"....don't you think that's terrible?"
"What?" he asks having lost himself in thought to hear what she can possibly have to say.
"I said it's just terrible. Haven't you heard the news?" she replies not answering his question of what it is she is talking about.
"News?" he asks flabbergasted unsure of what has this woman going off once again. It's always something and today it happens to be the news Piercen didn't watch. Or is it the local gossip news she could be speaking about?
"A young girl didn't go home last night. I heard she took off after an argument with her parents and hasn't been heard from since. I mean it hasn't been long, only a day but still can you believe it? In a town this small she can go missing? Who would do such a thing to a fifteen year old?" It is now Piercen realizes what he's done. He made a horrible mistake, he slipped up worse than he ever has.
In his need to seek someone out and kill to satisfy his craving he didn't follow his rules. He didn't take his time to find out anything about the girl he picked up on the side of the road. He didn't take months of preparations he usually does to prevent something like this from ever happening. His victims were always woman from out of town. They were always those to barely move to town away from family. They were never teenagers. They were never residents of this town people would realize have gone missing hours later.
He's screwed. He needs to cover his tracks and fast. He doesn't need or want to be linked to her disappearance and death. He needs to get home and get rid of the body right away and the blood stained clothes. He needs to get rid of everything to link him to the crime and many others because of his foolish mistake. But should he have not seen this coming? Shouldn't he have realized all it takes is one mistake to have everything crash down around him?
All killers expose themselves in the end because of one mistake or another. In the end they are never invincible of bypassing prosecution and death for their crimes. They can never get away forever nkw can they?
"Yeah that's terrible." Piercen says trembling inside as he does everything to stay composed and not guilty like he knows he is.
