Nuria POV

It's been two weeks since I started working at Real Madrid. Two weeks during which I hardly talked to anyone. But I do not really complain. I don't like talking at all.
Today, the team moved to the United States for pre-season. Once on the plane, I take pictures of the players and then go sit in my place. Actually, I'm a little bit stressed. I am not used to taking a plane and I am still a bit afraid. But I guess it will change. It will be necessary anyway if I intend to follow Real Madrid throughout Spain.

- Are you okay? ask someone behind me.

I turned to see who spoke to me, quite surprised since nobody did since Karim's attempt. This is Sergio. I can't help but smile at the sight of his blonde hair.

- Yes, thank you.
- Are you sure? You look anxious.
- No, I assure you, I'm fine.

He then leaves his seat to sit next to me.

- Is it flying that scares you?
- Uh ... Yes. A little bit.
- You know, there is no reason to be afraid? he says with a big smile. We will all survive.
- I know, I mumbled. But I'm afraid though. I can't help it.
- Did you mention it to a hostess? They can help you, you know.
- I'm fine, thank you.
- If you say so. I 'm Sergio. And you?
- Nuria.
- You are the new photographer, am I wrong?
- That's it.

He looks at me for a moment, smiling, then puts his headphones on. Again I haven't been able to have a real conversation. Why can't I say nothing but answer the question people ask me? Why can't I say anything else? Why am I so afraid of being laughed at when I open my mouth. Others do it and nothing happens to them. But for me, this is impossible. During the trip, I hope he will remove his headphones and try to talk to me again. But obviously, he doesn't. Nobody ever tries to talk to me a second time. After the first try, everyone is convinced that I am not interesting. And they aren't completely wrong.
However, before boarding the bus that should lead us to UCLA, where we will reside during the week, he says with a smile :

- I hope you 're not afraid on the bus too.

Surprise, I first am unable to say anything. But after a few seconds, I replied shyly :

- No, it's okay. Only the planes.

I smiled at him and he smiles at me too. Maybe eventually he doesn't think I 'm so uninteresting. Maybe I get to talk to him normally. Well ... if he talks to me again.
