Mesut POV

-I assure you that nothing happened, I say exasperated.

Since he surprised me last night with Nuria, Sergio is harassing me to find out what happened. And I'm telling him that nothing has happened, but he refused to believe me. Yet it is the truth. He came before anything could happen. I'm sure he wants me to tell him, but I won't. I'm still mad at him because he interrupted us.

- Do you think I don't see you like her? he asked.
- Even if I like her, it's none of your business.
- I am your best friend, am I not? I have the right to know.

I roll my eyes. At this moment, the bus finally arrived at the stadium. I get out as quickly as possible to escape from Sergio. While passing in front of Nuria's seat, I throw her a glance with a smile, but she doesn't pay attention to me. As I head to the locker rooms, Sergio catches me.

- You know you can't avoid this conversation forever.
- I can try.

He sighs and says:

- I know that something happened.
- So, why do you persist in asking me questions? If you are already aware, I have nothing more to tell you.
- I want you to admit it. And you will.

Nuria POV

I'm trying to install my equipment on the sidelines until the players begin to warm up. I think back to the conversation I just heard between Sergio and Mesut. Apparently, Mesut didn't say anything about what happened last night in his room. I was sure he would tell everything to Sergio at the moment I left. But he didn't. Perhaps, I imagined things. It's been so long since someone kissed me, and I really wanted him to do so that I imagine he would. But Sergio wouldn't be as convinced that something happened if it was just my imagination. Or maybe he asks questions only because Mesut was half naked when Sergio arrived. After all, it could be confusing. Still, I 'm sure Mesut tried to kiss me. Or maybe he didn't. He only had pity for me for a moment. I let out a sigh. The first players are coming onto the field. Among them, there are Mesut and Sergio. Apparently, they are still arguing about last night. And when he passes in front of me, Mesut smiles at me.
