"Can you expand on what you saw in your dream? We need to cover every detail."
"It was dark. I was running. I must have tripped on something. Then she was there, speaking in my ear."
"She?"
"I don't know. Maybe. It's foggy."
"We need the details, Miss Brown."
"Atara. And I'm sorry, but when was the last time you remembered details from your dream?"
"What did the voice sound like?"
"Firm, clear, kind of like–"
"Lilith's?"
"Yes. I mean, no. I–"
"What did she say?"
"Nothing! I mean, it wasn't Lilith. I don't – I can't really remember."
"That's a lot of answers, Atara – 'it wasn't her', 'she didn't say anything'. But then, you keep saying you don't remember – that things are foggy. How can you be sure of anything?"
"Look, I don't know, okay? Why does it even matter? It was just a dream!"
"There is no 'just' here, Atara. The universe, the ship, your friends, your dream. It's all connected. All of it, down to the smallest particle of dirt. And it is so much more than 'just'."
