Chapter 22
I woke up next to Chris, and found myself laying on the bed in the motel, wearing Chris's shirt. Memories of last night came rushing back to me, and I blushed furiously. Last night was amazing. His lips on me, and his hands running over my body, his eyes held mine as we made love...
I felt butterflies in my stomach as I watched him sleep.
His hair was a little bit tousled, and his arm was wrapped around me. I trailed my finger on his chest, down to his abs, and then his hand caught mine.
"I don't think that it's a good idea, Adeline," he whispered, and opened his eyes, his eyes pierced into mine lovingly, and I smiled. I kissed him. "Good morning," I greeted, and he grinned. "Good morning to you too," he said.
Then there was a loud knock on the door.
"Hey! You two! Get up! It's time to get ready and leave!" Rachel shouted from outside the door. I groaned, and sat up, but I was pulled down by Chris.
"Chris, we should really go now. If not, your parents and my parents would find us," I said, and Chris grumbled, pulling me to his lap.
"We'll be out in a - a minute, Rach!" I replied, and Chris nuzzled his face in my neck.
"Hey, that tickles. Let go. I need to shower," I said, and Chris kissed my throat, where the mark was.
"H - hey... stop that," I whispered, and I heard Rachel snort from outside.
"If you're not out in a minute, I'll get Jonah to break down this door for you!" She threatened, and Chris sighed.
"Shut up, Rachel! Did I disturb you when you and Jonah were getting some? No! Now, please just leave and we'll be out soon!" Chris yelled, and I rolled my eyes. "Come on. Let me go. We need to change right now," I said.
"But Adeline..." Chris pouted.
"That doesn't work on me," I smirked, and he grumbled.
"Can't we wait for awhile?" Chris said, and I shook my head. "No. We have to meet them outside. I think they're still planning on going in Inhuman," I said.
"Inhuman?" Chris asked, his brows furrowed in confusion.
"It's a club for inhuman creatures. Which is why they call it Inhuman," I said.
"Oh," he said, and I scooted out of his arms.
"Anyways, you go get ready, and I'll go get ready," I said.
"Uh, in case you haven't noticed, there is only one bathroom," Chris said, a smirk playing on his lips.
I blushed, and looked away. "Uh... I'll shower first, then you go shower," I suggested, and he chuckled. "Alright. Just hurry up," he said.
I shot out of bed, and went inside the bathroom, turning on the shower. The cold water splashed down on me, and I yelped in surprise. It was freezing. Like skinny dipping in Antarctica.
I quickly turned on the hot water, and once I was done showering, I looked around for my clothes, but I, being the stupid me, forgot to take in my clothes from the room.
