Its been about a month now that Laci's been missing. By now our child should've been born. We should be a family, living in peace. But life isn't fair to either of us. I've lost everything and they expect me to go on with my life. I just can't, I can't. She was my life and still is.
"Thorin?"
I grumbled at the person. "What?"
"It's time for your lesson. I know you don't want to, but you need to." I sighed at Fili. "She would want you to do this."
"Fine, lets get this done and over with."
-----------------
This woman before me tells me that she is taking me back to my husband. But for some reason I don't want to believe her, but I need to. I have a child, that's all i remember.
I had a son, something had told me to name him Nalain. It was like an inner voice of some kind.
"Are you alright?" The woman asked. I looked up from my seat to see she was looking at me.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said quietly. She looked at me for a while longer then went back to cooking the food.
"You know were almost there."
"Then why don't I feel excited?" I asked her. Her whole body froze for a second before she shrugged.
"He's excited to see you. He missed you, you know." I looked at her when she spoke. It seemed as if she was afraid.
"Please, tell me again how this, how I ran away." She had told me once before but I really didn't pay attention.
"From what I could remember you ran away because you were afraid of what Delin would say about the child."
"Oh he must be mad then."
"I wouldn't think so, he was overjoyed to here about the child. He had been waiting for one his whole life. Although you did keep him from seeing his child for so long, I'd like to think he'd put that behind him."
"He was only just born a month ago."
"Yes, but you were gone for the whole pregnancy." Looking over to my son I smiled. I hoped nothing would come from hiding his son from him.
Next Day
As we entered the city many stopped what they were doing to watch.
"They are happy their Queen is home." The lady said.
"They do not look like they are happy. If anything they look confused." I replied.
We continued to walk through the crowded streets. A hushed whisper had come over the crowds. When we got to the gates the guards bowed and looked at me confused.
"Ahh there she is!" I heard a man's voice roar over the whisper. If I could describe my feeling is would be disgusted. I felt overall dirty hearing the man's voice. Turning I was greeted by being hid in the mans chest. "My BEAUTIFUL wife has been returned to me!" He shouted.
"Excuse me?" I whispered.
"My apologies, wife." The man released me and I finally got to look at my.....husband? he didn't look like anyone or thing I would go for. He was rather short, yes I still was shorter than him, but I was almost the same height or taller. He had grey hair and he had many scars along his face. The woman has told me that I had scars long my face, but they were barley noticeable. But his, his were deep and they were badly healed over.
"I know that you've been gone sometime my love, but there is no reason you need to look at me in disgust." I was taken bad by his comment. I didn't this I was giving in such a look.
"I-I am sorry." He smirked and grabbed my arm, then looked to my child that slept in my arms.
"Finally, I have what I wanted in many years." He whispered. "I have a.......wife and a child."
After that comment he pulled me inside the small castle. The woman following closely behind us. I know that this man refused to look at her, while she desperately tried to get his attention. And that's how it went on for the next couple months, until she finally left. To which once she did he finally showed his true side, sending out men to find her. He didn't Care if she was alive or dead, he just wanted her back.

Couple Month's Later
"Thorin! Thorin!" Balin was calling for me in the garden. I came here with Sapphire to watch her practice her fighting skills.
"Yes, Balin what is it?"
"Your cousin had wished to inform us of a marriage that will be happening in a couple months. "
"Okay, who is it for?"
"Some Lord named Delin, apparently he has had a child with a woman they wish to join hands. they wished to know if you want to come." I thought about Balin's words. How in Durins name am I suppose to attend a wedding without my wife. Looking to Sapphire I knew I couldn't take her anywhere without Laci. She just wouldn't feel safe with me. If I couldn't protect my wife and unborn child, then how am I suppose to protect my last family member.
"You do not need to attend. You can decline." Balin said, noticing my discomfort.
"Thank you my friend." He nodded and went on his way to send word that I would not be attending.
Looking to the sky I wished that my wife shall return to me. She was the light of my life, and I needed her back.
