Picture above is Delin and Nalian.

Once we arrived at Erebor, Delin basically forced Nalian and I into cloaks. I don't know why, even Zelda looked at him in confusion. But I've learned to never question him.

"You could act like you like me." He whispered. Then he took Nalain from me.

Zelda came next to me and took a hold of my hand, and gentle squeezing it. "It'll be okay Lacibella. He's just nervous that's all."

"But if there is a ball I'll be nothing to him. I'm just an object for children." Zelda frowned.

"Well I'm here for you and that little ball of joy."

"Yes, right." I smiled to her.

Thorin's POV

For the past couple weeks I've been feeling excited. I thought it was for Sapphire's crowning, but Fili has also been excited. Plus whenever I think about Laci something inside me sparks. Like there's still hope that she will return.

"Thorin, Delin has arrived with his family."

I looked to Balin "Please remind me who they are again. "

"Their youngest is Nalain, their oldest is Zelda."

"His wife?"

"He hasn't said anything regarding his wife. But we will be able to meet her at the ball in the next couple days."

"Yes of course. Please send them my welcome. Then apologize that I couldn't meet them before the crowning."

"Very well. Now as a friend how have you been feeling? Do you still feel like she is coming."

I smiled thinking about her. "I feel something pulling me towards something or someone like she's here in Erebor."

"You never know she might show up for your daughters crowning."

"I could only hope." With that the conversation had ended and Balin went on his way to greet our guest. More would be coming in the next couple days. So it would get busy from here on. And I had only hope my wife shows up. I know she wouldn't want to miss her daughters crowning.

Laci's POV

A guard had just dropped us off in the room we'd be staying in. There was one big room that sat furniture, like the small sitting area back home. Then there was two rooms off to the sides.

"Right, well ill take the largest room and you, Zelda and Nalain can share the other." Delin said.

"Wouldn't we be staying together?" I quietly asked.

"Are you mad?"

"Well I just thought-"

"Think again! We don't share a room back home, so why would we now?"

I nodded, "Right, I'm sorry. My mistake. "

"Good well while I get settled. I would enjoy being by myself. Zelda take your mother on a tour."

"Mother?!" Zelda and I asked.

"Yes, that is how I got Zelda in here. I knew you would need a friend and we'll I would need someone to watch you. Now go!"

Without asking another word, I took Nalian from Delin and we went on our way. I think it was about a couple mintues into our walk I thought of something.

"So you've been here before?"

"Yeah sometime ago now. It was when I was running from Delin. It was the safest place I found."

"So why leave?"

"I didn't want to bring harm to people who were starting a new life here. But I would give anything to come back here and hide away."

As I was listening to Zelda talk to didn't notice the man walking towards me. So I ran into him.

"Oh my.... I'm sorry I wasn't watching were I was going."

"Its quiet alright ma'am. I wasn't watching either." When I looked to the man he gave me this weird look. Looked like he had seen a ghost.

"I'm sorry again."

"What is your name sir." Zelda asked.

"Balin, and yours." I moved Nalian to my other hip and bowed.

"I'm Lacibella and these are my two children, Zelda and Nalain." The man gave me a weird look and then smiled.

"So you are Lord Delins wife. We haven't heard much about you."

"That would be me yes."

"Ahh well the King welcomes you to his home and he hopes your stay is a good one. If you need anything just ask a guard."

"Of course, thank you Balin." He nodded and walked away.

"That was odd." Zelda said.

"Yes, yes it was."

Balin's POV

I walked as fast as I could down to the training room. I couldn't believe who I had just saw, but whoever it was utterly wasn't the person I thought I had known.

"Balin, brother why do you look so worried."

"I'm confused."

"Why are you confused?" Kili asked as him and Fili walked over to me.

"Its her, she's here."

"Who?"

"Laci!" I yelled at them.

"Then let's go get her." The boys yelled and headed for the door.

"No!"

"No?"

"She's, she didn't remember me. Plus her name is longer. She told me it was Lacibella not Laci. There's something different about her and it's not going to be an easy fix. I don't know if we could even fix it."

"What aren't you telling us?" Dwalin asked.

"She's married to Delin. She thinks Zelda and a young child is hers."

"She was pregnant when she went missing."

"Well if she has had two children by Lord Delin than the couldn't be her could it?"

"It could if that child was Thorin's and Zelda isn't her child. It's our Laci on the outside, but it's like her memory of us and this place it gone."

"So what do we do?"

"Keep her away from Thorin."
