You don't want your videos to be too long, but you don't want them to be too short.
If you just keep rambling on about the same thing it will get boring and un-interesting.
You want to have a good, and interesting topic. I think that the right amount of time for a video is about 3.5 to 4 minutes.
I can understand that some videos like Hauls and some tags can be well over 4 minutes, but after all it is your channel and if your viewers like short or extra long videos then leave it that way.
