Channels

There are many types of youtube channels.

Gaming

There are lots of gaming channels. I only know a few (there are tons) Gaming channels like PewDiePie play games. They play anything from Slender to flappy birds. These videos can be very long or very short. Just because you watch them does not mean you are a nerd! you like what you like!

Vlogging/ More

There are literally tons of vlogging channels. Some "vlogging" channels are not ALL vlogging. For instance Tyler Oakley has MoreTyler. On Tyler's main channel he tries posts videos every week. On his second channel he may post vlogs or short "Hello. How are you?" videos.

Beauty

There tons of beauty channels on youtube also. Beauty is anything from shopping hauls to makeup. Some of the beauty people i watch are Zoella, SprinkleGlitter, Behtany Mota, AndreasChoice, Missglmourazzi and Tanya Burr. All these people give makeup advice, have give-aways, share fashion ideas, and many other things.

Personal/ Main

Personal and Main channels are kind of the same thing. A main channel is where most of the youtubers post the most or are on the most. They do most of their liking and commenting on this channel. Most likely if you need to get in contact with them do that on their main channel.

TV/ Short Films & Skits

There are a lot of channels like this. I know that Joey Graceffa and Sawyer Hartman do short films. These films can be anything from music covers, music videos, small plays, or like AwesomnessTV. AwesomnessTV is a very good channel for this.

Teaching

There are also channels that can teach you. If you have to watch a video for work or school you will find a video here. Or if you are not sure how to tune your guitar they can possibly help you.

Others

There are many different types of channels. The platform of YouTube is very diverse and most of the time are extremely accepting of what ever type of media that you create.
