A spiral of water and flowers hit the ground, Ice barely ducked in time. Hiriya looked on worriedly as this duel had become serverly one-sided with Minerva having Exilated and Ice still using his Level 6 Exiler skills. The girls however, were cheering like never before. It was clear as day that they wanted Ice to lose. Hiriya wanted to help Ice, but Duel rules were to be strictly followed; 1.Both parties must accept the duel and declare stakes, 2. Exilation can only be performed under permission from both a referee and the opponent, 3. No outside interference.
As Ice narrowly dodged another spiral of water and flowers. A scratch appeared on Ice’s left arm. Blood started to trickle out of the wound. Ice was slightly taken aback.
“The barrier’s been broken? This might be troublesome. I need to end this, and fast.” Ice mumbled.
While he held up his hand to his arm and tried to stop the blood by even just a bit, Ice looked towards the stadium stands to check on everyone. They were all caught up in the heat of the duel to notice that he had sustained realistic damage. Turning back to face Minerva, he slammed the ground and a white magic circle formed. As Minerva came in to attempt to finish the duel, Ice muttered something.
[EM ARMOR RESTRICT LEVEL 1: UNLOCKED]
A pillar of blinding white light surrounded Ice. Minerva tried to attack the pillar, but it resisted the attack and rebounded her quite a distance. As the pillar of light disintegrated, Ice reappeared with one more crystal on his EM armor. The audience was wild with excitement as Ice dashed forward. Ice crossed his arms and a white magic circle formed in front of him.
[ELEMENT: LIGHT: LIGHT HAWK]
Ice quickly changed into a light shaped like a hawk and flew towards Minerva. Minerva slammed the ground.
[EXILATION ELEMENT: WATER & FLORA: FLOWER TIDAL: WALL]
A wall of water and flowers erupted from the ground and blocked the hawk. As the hawk fell back, it turned back into the shape of Ice and he quickly crossed his arms, a white magic circle formed in front of him. Minerva saw this and tried to back away.
[ELEMENT: LIGHT: FINAL RAIDIENCE]
The entire stadium slowly enveloped in a expanding ball of bright light. Shielding their eyes, the crowd went completely silent until the light slowly faded. As the scenery came back into focus, there, in the middle of the stadium, Minerva and the boy who she performed an Exilation with, laid unconscious on the ground. Ice stood upright a few meters away from the two, his EM armor was devirtualized already. He was still grasping his left arm tightly. Ice suddenly felt a sharp throbbing in his head, as he went to quickly grasp it, he slowly felt the world fading around him slowly into darkness… his last vision was a young boy and girl running towards him.
Ice couldn’t feel himself breathe. But yet he could feel that he wasn’t in any danger. A small sparkle of light shone directly at him and quickly blinded his vision. Ice covered his eyes and when he reopened them, he saw a terrible sight…
A bunch of Exilers all lay on the ground moaning profusely. The weather was that of a thunderstorm as the echoing sounds of thunder could be heard. As Ice viewed the scene, someone walked closer to one of the guy who was scrambling away.
“Stay…STAY AWAY FROM ME!” He screamed in fear.
The person raised his hand. A blade of light slowly formed its shape. There was a scream and blood splattered pass Ice’s face and onto the person. His expression remained cold and distant than ever. A cold smirk appeared on his face. Blood dripped off the blade and joined the rain in it’s symphony of waterfall.
“Drip…drip…”
As Ice continued looking at the person, a loud crack of thunder shocked the scenery and the flash from the lightning shone to reveal the person’s identity… Himself.
