Hiriya ran and ran away from the tower not knowing where he should go. Still holding Alicia in his arms, he decided to go ask Kyouki-san for help. He headed in the direction of the Academy dragging Rita along with him. The sound of an explosion shook his resolve as he turned to look at the tower. Part of it had been blasted away. He was worried that that was Ice, but Alicia’s situation was more serious. So Hiriya turned and ran. Dragging a reluctant Rita…

-Ice’s Eyes-

As the light faded, Ice stood there, however he had stone wings that grew out from his back, he also didn’t have a gauntlet on either of his arms. These slowly cracked and shattered and reveal wings similar to that of an angel’s. Ice’s eyes also changed to a shade of blue. And he had a cold expression. Eizen became wary of him, as Mori tried to move forward, he stopped her.

“You’re not the same person… who are you?” Eizen asked.

“What do you mean, I am the same person. Ah~ I never did say my name huh. My name is Ryouto Hirito. Also known as Ice.” Ice replied coldly.

“Ice? I see. You were the one who was the original Judgementation experiment 10 years ago.”

“…”

“Hmph, to see a ghost of the past actually come back. I think I might enjoy killing you. Number 01”

“Enough talk. Let us end this quickly. I still need information from you.”

“Agreed. I have much to rediscover to confirm if you are from the ‘I.C.E.’ experiment.”

Eizen dashed forward and a red magic circle appeared on his gauntlet…

“In Control of Everything, also known as the I.C.E Experiment. That is the code name for the very first Judgementation experiment. Performed on a 6 year old child, the experiment gained success and failure at the same time. The child gained the powers of both Exiler and Judgement, however lost control of it shortly after, destroying everything in a 1000 km radius. The test was cancelled and all data of the event were erased, never to be created again due to its dangerous consequences. Three people were involved in this development, 2 adults and a child… the child’s name was Ryouto Hirito, who gained the code name, Ice. That’s you isn’t it.” Eizen smirked.

“…”

The two clashed and as Eizen sliced his blade, Ice blocked it with his wings. Sparks flew to every direction from Eizen blades. He jumped back. As he retracted his blade, it shattered.

“What?!”

“In my current state, all attacks you try are useless against me.”

“I see. You really are a monster.”

“… I’ll ask you once more… who is this ‘God’ of yours.”

“Mori, we’re leaving.”

As he said this, the hooded girl stepped closer to him and threw a smoke bomb.

“… Useless asking, huh.”

Ice fanned the smoke away with his wings, however the two had already vanished. A sound resonated in the tower.

“I’ll give you a clue to our ‘God’, he is closer to you than you think. And his motives haven’t changed in 10 years. So long, Ryouto Hirito!”

As soon as the voice drowned out, the tower became silent. The wings on his back started feathering and wilted. He fell and kneeled on the floor, exhausted. Ice’s eyes also changed back to a dark brown color.

“…ch, guess I overdid my body huh?”

-End-

Hiriya ran towards the infirmary, as he slammed open the door, Kyouki looked at them in shock, when she saw the still unconscious Alicia, she quickly helped lead Hiriya to the infirmary bed where they laid Alicia down.

“What happened?”

Hiriya quickly explained the situation to Kyouki. After listening, Kyouki gave Alicia an injection and told Hiriya not to worry and stepped out of the infirmary. Rita leaned quietly next to Hiriya and the two silently looked over at Alicia.

-Kyouki’s Eyes-

She gave a small sigh. Ice had gone and done something she wished he wouldn’t do again. As she continued to worry about Ice, she saw his slowly walking towards her. She stopped him in his tracks.

“I presume they’re in there then.”

Kyouki raised her hand and slapped Ice across the face. Ice avoided looking at Kyouki. He knew the reason she hit him. Kyouki collapsed onto Ice’s chest and started to bawl. Ice didn’t move. Kyouki kept crying and began pounding on his chest.

“BakaBakaBakaBakaBaka! Ice no Baka! (Baka = Idiot, dummy, stupid etc.etc.)”

“Sorry, I broke our promise. I had no choice. I couldn’t let what happened 10 years ago repeat itself…”

“Don’t leave me alone again… please…”

Kyouki continued crying as a rainstorm slowly crept in… Ice silently wrapped his arms around her…

-End-

Rita and Hiriya just silently looked over Alicia, who had now been sleeping soundly. The rainstorm started to roll in. The drips of rain sprinkled across the glass windows of the infirmary.

“… It’s my fault.” Hiriya murmured.

“It’s my fault that Alicia got kidnapped. If only I had been stronger…”

“No, Hiriya. I am also to blame.” Rita consolidated Hiriya.

“If I wasn’t so selfish, you wouldn’t have to worry about me as well.”

“No, that’s not correct.” A voice said.

Rita turned to look at Ice who was coming into the infirmary. Kyouki wasn’t with him.

“ ‘I can’t choose importance between the two they are equally important, so if one went missing, I will stop at nothing to save that person…’ was what you told me as a response, right, Hiriya?”

“What do you mean, Ice?”

“I had a small discussion with Hiriya before we went to save you gals. And that was his reply.”

“Really?”

Rita looked at Hiriya, he was blushing and looked away from her. This made Rita blush and look away as well. At the same time, Alicia began to open her eyes. Hiriya looked at her and asked her if she was all right. She only looked deeply into Hiriya’s eyes silently then, without warning, hugged Hiriya. Rita got angry and tried to separate the two but Ice stopped her and dragged her out of the room, leaving Hiriya and Alicia together.

“Hi-kun, I’m scared.”

Hiriya was taken aback a bit; this was the first time he had heard her speak in a long time… a long time? Had he heard her say anything before? Unable to respond, he remained silent and hugged her. After Alicia recovered, Ice and Rita came into the room again. Alicia started to talk about everything she heard from the two Exilers, apparently she was some sort of key for something. And it required her to achieve something called “Judgementation”. Ice seemed concerned about this and he told Hiriya he will go and find to more about it and left the infirmary. At the same time, a red eyed Kyouki also walked in after. The rain poured harder…
