“Ice, can you help find where Alicia is? I’ll keep this girl busy for you.” Hiriya said.
“Got it, give me five minutes.”
As he said this, Ice slammed the ground. A white magic circle spiraled from his EM armor and formed on the floor of the tower. Ice then stood up and stayed there. Hiriya dashed further towards the hooded girl. He raised his right arm and a blue magic circle appeared on his gauntlet. The hooded girl also raised her right arm and a green magic circle appeared on her gauntlet.
[ELEMENT: WATER: AQUA BLADE]
[ELEMENT: WOOD: TERRA BLADE]
A blade of water formed on Hiriya’s EM armor. He slashed it forward and it collided with a wooden blade that the girl formed on her EM armor. Shards of wood and drips of water sprayed everywhere. The girl looked at Ice. It seemed as thought she knew Ice was currently casting a locator magic. She flung back the initial attack and dashed towards him. Hiriya saw this and he slammed the ground. A magic circle formed around Ice’s initial circle.
[ELEMENT: WATER: BUBBLE SHEILD]
A bubble of water slowly formed around Ice. As the girl’s wooden blade collided with the bubble, it shattered into pieces. The girl jumped back. Seeing Rita still standing rooted to the ground not far away from Ice, the girl slammed the ground and the roots holding Rita began to snake and coil around her. Hiriya stopped in his tracks. The girl smirked.
“That’s right. Just don’t move. If you do, that girl’s life will be gone in an instance.” She said.
Hiriya looked at Rita worriedly. The roots had been slowly tightening its grip on Rita. Turning back to look at Ice… Ice wasn’t in the bubble anymore. As soon as Hiriya noticed this, the hooded girl noticed as well.
“Wha…”
Before she could finish her sentence, the roots around Rita were sliced and fell to the ground and Ice was dashing right beside the hooded girl. He was readying a punch with his armored arm but it wasn’t to the hooded girl. Ice continued to dash till he was behind the girl.
“SO KO KAAA~! (There you are!)”
Ice punched the air, however instead of missing, the air cracked like glass. Ice jumped and slid back towards Rita. The air cracked and shattered, revealing a small room, inside, there was a hooded guy and Alicia who was hanging unconscious against the wall.
“ALICIA!” Hiriya yelled.
The hooded guy looked at Ice. Ice raised his arm to prevent Hiriya from rushing towards Alicia. Rita just flopped onto the floor from relief.
“You are quite interesting. To be able to destroy my void magic with one single blow. Also, you disappoint me, Mori, you were suppose to take care of them.”
“I am deeply sorry.” The girl said as she kneeled before the hooded guy.
Hiriya tried to move forward but Ice still blocked him.
“Don’t rush. Look at that.”
Hiriya looked at Alicia. Alicia had two stone wings that had sprouted on her back.
“I see, so that’s why you people choose this place. You guys are Judgemental people aren’t you! ” Ice said.
“Hmph, very observant. Yes, we are from Judgemental, and I presume you would also happen to know what we are doing to this girl, right?”
“…ch. <Judgementation>…”
“Correct”
Hiriya looked at Ice.
“What?”
“<Judgementation>. I read about it in the files of the school library under the restricted section. There are two types of magic, Elemental and Modify. Modify magic was forbidden due to its effects and all records were to be erased. Or so I thought. It seems the books landed into the hand of Judgemental. <Judgementation> was one of the spells in that book and from what I heard from the sempai who had been in charge while we were in first year, it’s a spell which will convert an Exiled to a Judgement but that wasn’t suppose be able to work.”
“True. But our ‘God’ managed to make it possible to work. And she is proof.” The hooded guy said.
“‘God’? I see. You people work for someone. Now, are you going to tell me who this ‘God’ is?”
“It’s such a pity we are enemies. You would have been very beneficial to our group.”
Ice readied himself. The hooded guy tossed his cloak aside and revealed his red hair and brown eyes.
“Now, shall we begin?” He said.
