I bought them beers and we started to talk.
"So what are you doing in town?" Sam asked taking a sip of his drink.
"I'm just passing. You?" I asked.
"We're doing the same." Dean said surprised.
"It's odd, doesn't it?" I said with a laugh.
"Yeah it is." He laughed.
"Where are you heading?" I asked them.
"We don't know yet." Sam answered. "You?" He asked.
"My next stop is in Atlanta and then, who knows where the hell I'm going." I lightly smiled. I look over Dean shoulder and saw a pool table. "Anyone wants to play?" I asked them and they turned around.
"Sure." Dean smiled. "I'm telling you. You're going to lose sweetheart." He smirked.
"Oh am I?" I smiled walking towards the table. "Since you're so sure, why don't we bet?" I asked taking a cue and he stands up to take one too.
"Don't-" Sam started.
"Sure. How about we start with fifty?" He asked.
"Fifty it is." I smiled taking my money out and putting it on the corner of the table. I rearranged the triangle with the coloured balls in it, then took out the triangle.
"Lady's first." He smiled. I positioned myself holding the thick part of the cue with my right hand and hold the smaller part of the stick with my other hand. I concentrate myself and quickly pushed forward the cue with my right hand to hit the white ball that hits the coloured balls. A full purple ball entered in the corner hole. "Nice shot." He admitted.
"If this impresses you, wait for this shot." I smiled walking on the other side of the table to have a nicer shot.I positioned myself the same way and hit the white ball. Two balls made their way in the holes. I followed the main ball and hit it again but this time I didn't succeeded.
"Watch and learn." He said cocky. He positioned himself and hit the white sphere. Three balls entered the holes.
We continued our intense game until I only had the 8 ball left. Dean was left with a yellow ball. It was his turn and he succeeded. It was his turn again, he needed to put the 8 in the hole to win the game. He missed it. It was now my turn. I was concentrated and I visualized the easiest way to win. I took a deep breath and hit it. It went in! I won!
"Looks like sweetheart won." I joked imitating Dean.
"No, she just lost." Dean said looking at the white ball entering the hole. No. Way. In. Hell. "I have to admit it, it was a great game Stel." He smiled taking the money.
"Told you." Sam said.
"Oh come on Sam. Don't play the 'I told you so' card on me." I snapped.
"In college you always won, what happened?" He asked.
"I got old." I laughed sitting back at the table.
"I'll go get myself a beer." Dean smiled walking away.
"Sam, are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, why?" He asked.
"But like... Are you really fine?" I asked feeling bad.
"To be completely honest, I feel lost." He breathed. "I- I miss her, Stella. I miss her a lot." He admitted.
"I know how it feels to lose someone close to you. More than you think you know." I sadly said.
"Two broken piece of crap, uh." He sadly smiled.
"True..." I sadly said. "Anyways..." I sniffed taking a lost pen from the table next to us and a napkin on ours. "Uh... Here's my number, if you wanna hang out sometimes or just need someone to talk to." I smiled handing him the paper after I wrote my phone number.
"Thanks." He smiled.
"No problem Sam." I smiled. "Why is it taking Dean so long?" I asked annoyed. I looked to the bar behind me and saw Dean taking to the barmaid. "So he's the flirting type." I giggled.
"Yeah. He is." Sam chuckled.Dean came back with more than just a beer.
"So are you going to call her tonight?" I asked cocky.
"I don't know if I feel like it today." He said putting the piece of paper on the table and sipping his drink.
"She's cute." I said looking at the red head barmaid. "What's her name?" I asked him and he tapped the paper with his finger. "Iris." I said reading it. "It's suits her."
"What to you mean?" Sam asked.
"I don't know, she just looks like an Iris." I laughed. "Long red curly hair, probably not natural, baby blue eye and pale eyebrows, meaning she's maybe blonde. Big breasts and an okay butt... Yeah definitely an Iris."
"Did you and an Iris fight or something?" Sam laughed.
"I hooked up with one." I admitted and the boys were shocked. "What? It was a one time thing in college." I explained. "It's not a big deal, god." I sigh putting my hands on my face. "It's not like I killed her or something." I dramatically said.
"You're cooler than I taught Stel." Dean chuckled.
"Wow, okay." I laughed awkwardly.
"Things got awkward quickly." Sam said. He read my mind.
"So... What are you doing in life?" I decided to change the subject.
"Was this Iris really hot?" Dean asked.
"I'm a cop." I smiled ignoring Dean. "And you?" I asked.
"Stella." Dean insisted.
"We're FBI's." Sam admitted.
"Stella?" Dean continued.
"That's so cool." I smiled.
"Stel?" Dean said picking my arm.
"What Dean?" I asked annoyed.
"Was she hot?" He seriously asked.
"Does it matter?" I asked confused.
"Yeah." He smirked.
"Yes Dean, she was hot." I said desperate. "Now can we talk about something else, like you two being feds." I breathed impressed.
"It's fine, not to much action." Dean simply answered.
"Well, it's more complicated than that. We travel around the United States to solve crimes." Sam explained.
"Like the Scooby gang." I joked.
"Exacly." Dean laughed. We talked and talked and talked until the barmaid made the last call. I hugged Sam first, then he walked towards his black Impala.
"I guess it's an 'Au revoir'." I smiled.
"See you around Stel." Dean smiled.
"Take care of Sam for me." I asked. "He's been trought a lot and he needs you." I said.
"I'm already on it." He chuckled and I giggled. I then stated to walk towards my car. "Hey!" Dean called me and I turned around.
"Do you need me to help you walk to your car?" I asked kidding. He walked towards me and searched in his pocket his wallet than took out a hundred dollars.
"I cheated." He confessed. "I kicked the table, I'm sorry." He said handing me the money. I only took half of the money and smiled.
"Keep it. Lets just say that you owe me one." I smiled patting his shoulder and walked to my car and drove back to my hotel.Things didn't went well on my way back...
