I woke up, to the smell of eggs. I put on my boots, and hoody, and headed towards the rest of the group. Koral, handed me a plate of eggs, and a plastic fork. I looked over my shoulder, to see Daryl eating alone, by his tent. I stood up from where I was sitting, and headed towards Daryl.

"May I sit?" I asked calmly, gesturing towards the log next to him. He nodded, and I took a seat. It was silent, for a few seconds, until I spoke up. "What was so funny last night?" I asked. He stopped eating, and turned to look at me. He glared at me, then turned his attention back to his eggs.
'Does he not like me, or is he just like this?' I thought to myself, feeling my stomach do back flips. I didn't know why I felt like this. "Do you think I'm ugly?" I asked, hoping for an answer. He put down his plate, and looked over at me. "No, your not ugly, as a matter of fact I have never seen a girl as pretty, as you sweetheart." He answered softly, looking around. "You know your safe right, I overheard what happened to all of you. Believe me nobody is gonna hurt you." He whispered, "Why don't you want anyone to know about how you look?" He asked quietly, trying not to draw attention to us. "I'm afraid, when I showed Luka, Rin, and Bard how I looked. Bard tried to rape me, and started beating me, along with Luka, and Rin. I'm scared that if I showed anyone I might get hurt." I answered holding my hood.

"Well you don't have to be afraid, nobody, is going to hurt you. If anything they may think your someone trying to hurt them, by hiding your face behind that hood." He whispered, grabbing my hood. I could hear footsteps, I turned to see Glenn, smiling. Daryl stood up as quick as he could, and picked up his crossbow. "I'm goin huntin." He said, walking into the forest. Glenn sat next to me, and gave me a large smile. "You know he likes you." He whispered, with a large smile on his face. "I heard he called you sweetheart. That's not normal for Daryl." He said, looking out where Daryl headed. "You mean it?" I asked. "Yep." Glenn answered, showing an even bigger smile. "I'm going out on a run, wanna come?" He asked, I nodded, and lowered my hood. "This is who I am." I whispered, showing a shy smile, Glenn smiled even wider, and got up, and headed to the truck. I followed him, and sat in the passengers seat, with a large smile on my face.
