I watched as Daryl hugged his daughter. He knew she was alive and he couldn't help but be relieved. Once they finished their embrace Amethyst glanced at me. Her eyes were cold but angry I could already smell my blood on her hands. "You bitch you told me he was dead!!!" She cried, reaching towards her knife. "Amethyst don't even think about pulling out that knife on Zoe!" Daryl shouted at his daughter. She turned her gaze to Daryl as I could tell she was pissed. "Dad how can you say that!? She told me you were dead!" She cried, tears welling up in her eyes. "Amethyst Amanda Dixon! Give me that knife right now!" He shouted holding out his palm. Amethyst slowly unsheathed her knife and handed it to Daryl. I could see the tears run down her face as she ran out into the field. Daryl glanced at me and walked away, I tried catching up but... "Stay the hell away from me!" He shouted hitting my hand away.

I stood back and turned my back. I watched Amethyst as she walked around the grass wiping hot tears from her tan face. I made my way out to the field towards Amethyst, and she turned to look at me. Her glare was cold and un-welcoming it was obvious she didn't want to talk. I stood there as she stared at me. She just stood there, her hair wet from sweat. "What do you want Zoe?" she grumbled turning her thin body towards me. When i stood there I realized how much she acts like Daryl. I thought back to the many times we talked and he never EVER mentioned her. I would've accepted her if Daryl had just told me but there was no way I could now. "Amethyst I want your opinion on what I should do." I answered grinding my teeth. She looked at me amused and came closer. "What do you mean Zoe?" She asked crossing her arms. "What should I do about your father? I asked running my fingers through my long dark hair. "Amethyst I lied to you and I'm sorry. It must have hurt to hear that and I want to make it up to you. Please tell me what I can do for your forgiveness." I pleaded. "Anything?" She asked. "Anything" I whispered closing my fists.

"Then I want you to leave. Go and never come back. If I see you again I will not hesitate to kill you." She replied. I was shocked she wanted me to leave Daryl and my friends. It made sense to me though. She was out there alone and couldn't return home. She wanted me to feel the pain she felt, and I nodded. I walked into the prison and packed my knife, my sword, and my bow. That night I slipped out undetected and walked through the dark forest, wondering where it would take me.
